In a well-developed essay, provide evidence to support this statement. Remember to include specific details and examples from the novel in your essay.

• Define prejudice:any preconceived opinion about someone or

something that is NOT based on reason, facts or actual experiences.

• Decide which TYPES of prejudice exist in the book. I am sure we can all think of racism as a type of prejudice, but are there others types of prejudice against other types of people?

• You will 2+ types of prejudice with examples for each. 3 types would be ideal.

• Look for quotations to support your types of prejudice. Examples, paraphrases. Scour your books!
