How to install MySQL Workbench on a Windows 10 PC.

The following are the click-by-click steps to download and install MySQL Workbench Version 6.3.7.

1. Download the (mysql-workbench-community-6.3.7-winx64.msi ) 26.7MB installer at:

https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/workbench/

2. Click “No Thanks, just start my download” a the lower left corner of the page.

3. Click Save

4. Go to your downloads folder and click on the mysql-workbench-community-6.3.7-win64 .msi installer.

5. A installer window opens

6. Then the MySQL workbench window opens, Click Next.

7. Click Next, at the destination folder

8. Click Next, to install complete features

9. Click Install

10. A progress window opens

11. You may have this window appear, Click OK

12. Click Finish

13. When MySQL starts it will ask you to migrate your connection. Click Yes.

14. When MySQL Workbench starts, enter your MySQL Password and click OK

15. MySQL Workbench main menu will then open.

16. Under Management, click Server Status to view the server status.

17. To Exit, Choose File, then Exit.
