CRAWL CONTROL*

This pioneering technology means the Prado “crawls” up formidable hills on its own

controlling engine output and brake-hydraulic pressure to maintain an optimum low

uniform vehicle speed. At the same time, it intelligently minimises wheel spin and lock-up.

The formidable new front gets a unified design, with a more robust

bumper featuring kick-up detailing on the lower corners and a skid

plate-like design in the centre. The raised radiator grille, fender

tops, and headlamps make for a bigger visual impact, while large

openings on the grille allow for optimum cooling performance.

The vertical inner grille keeps the classic Land Cruiser look with

broad chrome-finished bars and slit-shaped openings for cooling.

SIDE VIEW

A raised bumper and imposing 18-inch wheels** (17-inch wheels on

the TX models) give the Prado an athletic and dynamic stance,

complemented by colour-coded, i l luminated, heated, power

and retractable side mirrors.

HEADLIGHTS

The view ahead is always clear as day with LED Daytime Running

Lights (DRL), LED headlamps (VX models) and LED Auto High

Beam (AHB) headlamps*. The AHB system automatically switches

between high and low beam for maximum visibil ity without
