ON-LINE MEMBER REGISTRATION
Softball Australia Ltd ( SAL) determined that
there will be one 'membership' period per year
only and this will align with the summer season.
Whilst the reason for this is understood, it
does not fit well with softball in Qld where half
of its members (as with CSSA) are 'winter'
registered. CSSA & SQI continues to lobby SAL
to implement two annual membership periods
For tips of navigation into the SportsTG system,
please contact either CSSA Registrar ( Nicki
Endicott-Davies ) after hours on 3889 7038 or
0417 719 483 or the Administration staff at the
SQI Office on 3391 2447. For the 2019 season
the online registration has not cancelled out
nor replaced the need of CSSA's requirement to
keep track of Team Nominations, Team
Registrations or Team Reconciliations. These
forms are to be completed (as previously done)
& submitted to CSSA in the usual manner, to be
'married up' with the online registration
database.
PLEASE NOTE: Once the members' online
registration has been entered into the SportsTG
system, the SportsTG does not allow for any
members' withdrawing/removal from the
database.

SAL Structural change
At the SQI - ACM of 2018, DA delegates were informed that SAL embarked on a journey to change World Baseball
& Softball Confederation renamed the Softball World Championships to World Cups and restructure the age
categories for the Softball (Women's & Men's) World Cups.
As a result of this decision SAL advised that they will change the age divisions for National Championships,
beginning in 2020, which will affect the State Championships age divisions for 2019 onwards

GAME BALLS:
A 'one ball' system, for the grades in Juniors & Seniors was adopted by CSSA in 2003.
Generalising the use of a unified quality ball in all games, means a fairer game for
all concerned. The EASTON 804 & EASTON 888 balls can be purchased from the office at
the Dances Road Complex
