One of the signature Mission Projects for the Central Conference WMS is the fight against
“Domestic Violence”
We gave over 400 hundred purses and toiletry items to the Volusia County Domestic Abuse Council.
Our PME Director Mathelyn Smith introduce our presenters from the Council – Jessica Moore and Kirsten Pindar. They encourage us to talk about domestic violence and the effects when our children are exposed to this environment. “Bishop Litany - “Love is not supposed to hurt”.
Video Presentation displaying the Mission Work throughout the conference. Which touched on the Sustainable Goals: working to eradicate hunger and poverty; addressing issues surrounding homeless for children and adults, domestic violence, visiting the sick and shut-in.

by our Supervisor Mrs. Connie Richardson, Mrs. Bettye D. Bryant, Episcopal WMS President and Ms. Anetra Francisco, 3rd Vice President. We give thanks to Mrs. Richardson for sharing this service with us, as we promote the Women’s Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Heartfelt thanks of appreciation to Mrs. Bettye D. Bryant for her warm words, Godly wisdom and her gentle spirit filled with enthusiasm.
Moving forward in the 2016-2017 Conference Year, we believe that God will lead us on the Mission field to TRANSFORM LIVES…BUILD COMMUNITIES...IMPACT THE WORLD.
