One Man Two Guvnors comes to FolkestoneThe uproarious farce ‘One Man Two Guvnors’ will be coming in Folkestone in November – and will be set in the town seafront as well. The play, which was a huge hit a few years ago for James Corden in the London West End, is set in Folkestone for this performance.
Director Pete Raine explains:“The play was originally set in Brighton in 1963. But actually, it could be set in any seaside town near London – so why not Folkestone instead of Brighton? Brighton has a pier – but so had Folkestone Jazz Club

Oliver! - FHODS 10 years at the Tower Theatre
Celebratory Musical
The Ladykillers - Coming in 2017FHODS will be kicking off 2017 in style with The La-dykillers. This brand new adaptation of the classic Ea-ling comedy by the writer of Father Ted only finished professionally last year, and is sure to be another smash hit at The Tower Theatre.
Posing as amateur musicians, Professor Marcus and his gang rent rooms in the house of Mrs Wilberforce, a sweet little old lady. The villains plot to involve her, un-wittingly, in a heist job. But who will be forced to face the music?
The Ladykillers will be committing dastardly crimes at The Tower Theatre on February 15-18.
Far from the Madding Crowdis perhaps one of the most endearing and English of Hardy's novels. It tells the story of the young farmer Gabriel Oak and his love for and pursuit of the elusive and headstrong Bathsheba Everdene. Her wayward nature however, leads her into the path of the dashing Sergeant Troy ‘…the past was yesterday; never, the day after’ and the introverted and reclusive gentleman farmer, Mr Boldwood, whose love for her fills him with ‘…a fearful sense of exposure’ culminating almost inevitably in both tragedy and true love. Hotbuckle have gone from strength to strength, and after moving from Surrey to a Shropshire base in 2013, we will be touring with Far From the Madding Crowd in the Autumn.
