Establishment and current activites of the company
During the first years after the establishment in 1991 the activities of our com-
pany were mainly connected with designing and construction of machines and
equipment for transport of loose and lump materials. The final realization was
ensured by external manufacturing capacities.
In subsequent years the original ideas concerning the development of our com-
pany were gradually extended and specified. In accordance with market require-
ments the technical background of the firm became continuously more and more
productive. In 1992 the construction of our own manufacturing plant was started.
Another important event in the development of TMT spol. s r.o. Chrudim was the deci-
sion to concentrate all organizational and technical departments in the newly recon-
structed building that made up a new part of our own large manufacturing facilities.
The reconstruction of the premises in the ownership of TMT spol. s r.o. Chrudim
was awarded by CZECHINVEST, i.e. the Investment and Business Development
Agency and by AFI, i.e. the Association for Foreign Investments under the pat-
ronage of the Ministry of Trade and Industry in the Czech Republic within the
competition called „Industrial Estate of 2005“ – our company won the first place
in the category of „Brownfield of the Year“.
Manufacturing programme
Among main and principal fields of company activities there is engineering
and supplies of technological transporting units, deliveries of equipment for
technological as well as interoperational transport of loose and lump materi-
als, supplies of supporting steel structures and other handling devices accor-
ding to our customers´ needs and requirements.
The transportation systems including belt, chain, worm and other conveyors,
bucket elevators, roller lines etc. are often supplied to the end customers
together with control systems, steel structures and assembly within a higher
form of so-called „turn-key“ delivery.
In addition to main specialization branches TMT spol. s r.o. Chrudim also
develops the whole range of complementary programs and services.

Engineering and Deliveries of Investment Units“ issued by the Certification
authority No. 3016 within „The Czech Ship and Industrial Register“.

In TMT spol. s r.o. Chrudim about 40 employees are enga-
ged in planning and designing activities. High productivity
of construction work and competitiveness of products as
well as design are supported by the application of progres-
sive CAD technologies. Our designing offices are equipped
with a great number of workplaces using various software
programs for designing in 3D-Pro/NGINEERING-WILDFIRE
2.0. by Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC). This
constructional system is one of the most frequently used
3D CAD’s in the Czech Republic as well as in the world.
Pro/ENGINEER-WILDFIRE 2.0. enables work in three modes:
„part“ mode
parametric space modeling
creation of metal-sheet parts and their plane development
creation of parameters of a part with subsequent use in
the list of parts
„assembly“ mode
creation and construction of units
visualization of dimensions and space sections
„drawing“ mode
associative creation of a drawing based on models formed
by means of previous modes
automatic generating of a list of parts
automatic display of dimensions and tolerances
In our company this system is fully used in the process of pro-
duct designing as well as preparation of production documen-
tation and technological documents for production.
Besides designing in 3D our company applies series of com-
mon designing AutoCAD systems and software applications
for designers of steel structures and electrical parts.

Conveyors for transport of loose materials„Heavy“ belt and special conveyors
„Heavy“ belt conveyors are designed for transportation of large volumes
of loose materials with various grain sizes and temperatures up to 200 °C,
however they can be used for transport of lump loads as well.
Special belt conveyors with a closed belt (“pipe”) can transport material in
a dust-free way with the possibility of horizontal and vertical arches. Their
transport line respects configuration of terrain as well as built-up area.

Tyres transported by a flat belt conveyor.
Conveyors with sidewalls and crosspieces („Flexowell“) enable combination
of horizontal, inclined and vertical transportation of bulk materials with high effici-
ency. The large variability of particular types of belt conveyors as well as their
additional equipment (tripper cars, scarper ploughs, distributing flaps ...) comply
even with the most demanding requirements of clients and users. Carrying and
supporting steel structures are included in the delivery as well.

Worm conveyors are designed for transportation of non-sticking loose materials
(cereals, legumes, sugar, flour, cement, lime, gypsum, ashes,...).
According to their installation the worm conveyors can be divided into horizontal,
sloping and steep, pipe or trough ones with or without axis. Among their advan-
tages there is a simple design and dust-tightness. The transport systems with
worm conveyors are sometimes completed with regulating and dosing parts or
with other operating systems – central lubrication, exhaust connection,...

Bucket elevatorsBucket elevators are designed for vertical or steep transportation of various
kinds of loose (granulated, grained,...) materials.
They are usually designed as closed and dustproof devices. They can be
constructed either with one common shaft or with two separated shafts. The
choice of the tow element (belt, chains) and the form of buckets depends on
the character of transported material. Their application in food and chemical
industry often requires the use of high-grade materials (stainless steel, plas-
tics,...).
Worm conveyors
Redlers
The redler is a straight or bent chain conveyor used for horizontal and inclined transport
of loose materials. It consists of a body, a driving and tensioning station, two transpor-
ting chains connected together with carriers and of slide guiding of upper and lower
chain branches. Bent redlers also contain guiding chain wheels for chain guidance.
The body of a redler can be bent once or more times, eventually straight. It consists
of a bottom, sideboards and an upper cover. The redler can be filled up from above
(through the upper chain branch) or from a side. The tensioning station is situated in
the end part of the redler body. The central part of the body serves for carrying
transported material by means of carriers to the discharge outlet. At the end of
the redler there is a driving station and a discharge chute.

Conveyors for transport of lump loadsRoller lines
Transporting roller lines are supplied in many versions as driven, non-dri-
ven, direct ones, turning units, transfer tables, turning and lifting sections,
transfer carriages,...
Roller line with a combined tilting device for AL coils and with a roller turning
unit.
Assembly line – testing room for electromotors – the system of roller lines with
a transfer carriage and a transfer table as a connecting section.
Lifting equipment for vertical transport of EURO pallets with subsequent roller
conveyors and accessories (sliding fire doors for separation of the first and the
second floor, a pair of fast-moving gates, outline control, safety fencing,...).
Roller lines and transfer carriages for transportation of steel forming boards with load
capacity of 6 tons.

Chain and belt conveyors
Hanging conveyorsHanging conveyors are irreplaceable during transporta-
tion of similar kinds of products in mass production.
Among their advantages there is a possibility of universal
route adaptation to local conditions , the arrangement of
production technology etc. The hanging conveyors can
be installed on the conveyor steel structure or on the
supporting system of the building.
A one-line multilevel hanging conveyor. It enables both
horizontal and vertical turning sections seriated in the line.
A one-line hanging conveyor. Its easy design enables
transportation in one level only.
Chain conveyors can be designed with two, three or
more chains and they serve for transportation of lump
materials in a horizontal direction. Pallets or techno-
logical support plates with transported material may
lay directly on chains or on cross bars connected fir-
mly with the chain carriers. Combined with roller
modules the chain (belt) sections work as roller-chain
(belt) reloading units.

It is inserted in transport systems in places where the
perpendicular connection of linked lines is required with-
out any change of transported load orientation. The
number of reloading chains always depends on the
shape, size and weight of transported object.

The application method as well as the operation principle
are similar to those of the roller-chain reloading unit. It is
used for transportation of large size lump objects without
any change of transported load orientation.

Roller and wheel conveyors
Roller conveyors for transportation of lump objects are sim-
ple devices whose construction s particularly worked-out.
The basic parameters of conveyors (width, height, roller
pitch,...) always depend on the size, shape and quantity of
transported objects.

The roller conveyors often form together with delive-
red accessories the basic part of bigger lines (produ-
ction, packaging ones,...) or transport systems.
Among accessories for roller conveyors there are
following parts: controlled or uncontrolled stops, dis-
tributing and combining modules, transfer tables,
stackers, scaling systems etc.
The complex solutions include also packaging machi-
nes, robots etc. An essential condition for the correct
function of the whole facility is a reliable identification
and efficient control system.

Light transport systemsBelt conveyors
Light belt conveyors are designed for transportation of loose
materials as well as lump loads.
The belt conveyors with standard construction have a stainless
sliding body, zinc-coated mechanical parts and painted, height
adjustable supporting structure. In accordance with custo-
mer’s requirements as well as the specific character of trans-
ported material the design of conveyors can be adapted with
regard to concrete application.

Remove belt conveyor for lump parcels transported from the
elevator of dispatching line.

Conveyors with link belts (modular, plate, stick, etc.)
Conveyors with plastic modular belts are used with
regard to their operational functions in horizontal as well
as sloping transport lines where washing, cooling or
cumulation of transported products is required.
Thanks to their minimal maintenance needs they repre-
sent a suitable alternative to flat belt conveyors.
Except for the direct transport lines they can be made
with turning sections having a large turning radius.
Transport system with a modular belt for tin can sorting.
Application of a special plastic modular belt on the convey-
or for carton centering and aligning in a packaging line.
Cumulating zone for glasses consisting of three conveyors

Control systems and automation technology are component parts
of transport equipment and conveyor systems nowadays. The

Containers
As a rule, larger transport systems include various types of containers for
temporary storage of raw materials or semi-finished products. The delive-
ry can include silo containers or tanks supplied in various designs.
Double large-volume container for foundry sand including supporting steel
structures, walkways and platforms. The container is filled with a bucket
elevator and is discharged by means of belt feeders.
Steel structures
Related supporting systems are component part of many delivered trans-
port systems. Standard deliveries include supporting and hanging structu-
res, steel truss bridges, towers, platforms and walkways, roofing and
sheathing of technological constructions according to client’s require-
ments.

Manufacturing premises
Locksmith and welding shopManufacture in this hall specializes in production of steel structures, machine
parts or technological equipment. For this reason the equipment in this hall
mainly consists of cutting and welding machines. Welding operations are most-
ly performed by MIG/MAG method. TIG/WIG method is used for stainless steel
and non-ferrous metals. Welding with coated electrode is only applied for
assemblies or for special welding technologies, eventually for hard carbide
surfacing or repairs.
Machining shopMachining operations are realized in two separate areas equipped with universal
machining facilities (multi-purpose lathes, milling machines, horizontal boring
machine).The new HURCO VMX 42 CNC milling machine including accessories
for 3D machining is at disposal as well.
PaintshopSurface finish of manufactured parts and products is carried out in a modern
paintshop equipped with a heated exhausted box. After manual degreasing by
means of environment-friendly agents we apply suitable painting materials.
The painting materials are applied mainly by spraying with air guns or by high
pressure air-free spraying.
The paintshop consists of following parts :
areas for preparation of products before painting (40 m2)
overpressure and heated painting box (dimensions: 4 x 4 x 9 m) with acces-
sories for applications of synthetic, epoxy, polyurethane and acrylic painting
materialsunder time-controlled drying regime
areas with a gas infrared heaters for drying and temporary storage of painted
parts (450 m2)
Assembly hallThe hall is used for assembly, completion and testing operations of machines
which are checked and tested before dispatch to a customer. In new areas the
testing assembly as well as verification operations of complete lines or their
functional units can be performed.
Electrical shop, manufacture of electrical control panels
The electrical shop deals with manufacture and completion of electrical acces-
sories in delivered equipment. Among main activities of the electrical shop there
are as follows: manufacture of control panels, installation of elements and elec-
trical cabling on machines, assembly operations at final user’s place. The com-
pany disposes of licence for manufacture of electrical control panels up to
electric current value equal to 125 A.

Stainless steel processing
Stainless steel equipment is generally used in chemical, food or other
plants. Application of a high-quality steel ensures high resistance against
aggressive environment, the possibility of easy sanitation and a long-term
operating life.
Technology of sheet processing
TMT spol. s r.o. Chrudim has a large production basis using standard tech-
nologies for processing of construction steel as well as stainless steel
(cutting, machining, bending, grinding, drilling, welding).

Service within 24 hours on 7 days a week is permanently
provided concerning warranty, service as well as non-
warranty repairs of TMT delivered equipment.
We provide this service within the negotiated warranty
period for all deliveries.
Service operations in compliance with service conditions
include regular inspections and the client has a guaran-
teed priority response within the pre-agreed time in case
of a reported defect.
