What you need• adhesive-backed styrene• top and bottom lampshade rings• Lampshade glue• binder clips and a stick• Fabric of your choice

What to dothe first step is to iron the fabric so that it lays flat and there are no creases. Peel the styrene from its back cover and apply it slowly to the fabric. make sure that you start from the middle so that there is fabric remaining around each edge. it’s better to use a peel-and-press motion, to ensure that there are no crimps. now, carefully trim the fabric with scissors so that half an inch of fabric hangs on each side.

Roll the fabric and styrene into a cylindrical shape. use binder clips to

hold the two edges in place. insert the top lampshade ring into the cylinder and secure it with binding clips. the ring should be placed on the edge of the styrene. now apply glue to the overhanging fabric and press it down on the ring. With the help of a stick, tuck the fabric under the ring. continue doing this, going around in a full circle. after finishing with the top side, flip it over and insert the bottom ring. Repeat what you did with the top ring, and voila, your lampshade is now ready!

if you can’t find a fabric that suits your choice, you can always use fabric dye. it might take more time but the end product won’t disappoint you! and if you are wondering about where to find the things you need for this project, look no further than stationary shops in nilkhet. AnikA JAnnAt

Say the wordsthank you. how hard do you think it is to say these words? Do we really say them enough? as small as the words may seem, the impact they have on some-one is indeed, huge. but these words can lose their meaning if not spoken with sincerity. the words hold enough strength to help a person feel better and it also creates a good impression of you. be it for, a stranger who helps you pick up your pen or your sister who didn’t tell on you for faking a fever to bunk school, make a habit of saying these magical words, because they deserve it.

Smileif you are short of words or perhaps the owner of a beautiful smile, utilise

it. Remember, your smile is capable of making someone’s day. Show them you’re grateful by simply smiling at them, perhaps accompanied by a free hug where appropriate.

Return to them a token of gratitudeFind out what they are fond of and gift it to them, in return for their favour. you can go ahead and also leave a note, saying how special they are to you and how grateful you are to have them in your life. Send them a picture of anything that you think might make them smile. you can also go ahead and bake smiley cookies or perhaps buy them a lottery ticket. RAisA RAhim

Why don’t we make a habit of showing our gratitude for even the tiniest thing someone does for us, for instance opening the gate for us or giving us change. While some people are just too ignorant to realise the value of these words, others find it hard to express. Whatever the reason, we should not restrain ourselves from expressing it. The following are a few ways to help you with that. By the way, you’re very attentive, thank you!

Your smile don’t cost nothingthere are so many of us who treat the staff, the maids and the guards like muck. the faces that you zoom by every day and yet fail to see are the exhausted faces that stand in the heat for hours outside your school, making sure you lot are safe and sound inside. there’s no need to chill with them, but the least you can do is flash them your brightest smile. that one smile will not only brighten up their day, but will set you off on a good start for yours.

Kindness. Such a simple word, yet a difficult feat. you rush to school juggling your heavy backpack and water bottle. you shoo in through those gates right before the bell rings and the day begins. but how many of you have taken the slower route and smiled at the “mamas” you pass by every day or mouth a few kind words to your staff at home? Let’s discard these old habits and forge new fresh ones that shall make those who work for you, love you!

The maid conundrumit can stress, frustrate and drive you to the point of madness when your maid mixes up your sneakers, or gets lazy while cleaning out the garbage. Keep your mind on an even keel and try not lashing out at them. master the balance of being stern and kind. Sometimes, they don’t know how to keep quiet. Pay no heed to the nagging, simply address the problem, provide the solution and ask them to have it done. once they do the deed right, don’t hold back from praising them. it shall only encourage them and make lives much easier at home.

Sharing is caring toiling in a kitchen all day preparing the doi baras, the haleem and the biryani, and for iftar they are eating dates, muri and dried chana. Doesn’t that feel kind of off? if the rats are running in your stomach, maybe they have the rats running a marathon in theirs. tell them to eat whatever they like or you can even plate some of the items for them and let them have it as and when they please. nAtAshA RAhmAn

FootbALL tourNAMeNt IN DeNMArKtwo football teams from Scholastica uttara and mirpur senior campuses are going to participate in the Dana cup Football tournament which will be held at hjorring, Denmark from July 21 to 26. Scholastica is the only school from bangladesh participating in this tournament, sponsored by adidas, Pepsi, Sportmaster, Ford etc. the two teams consist of boys in the under 15 and under 16 age groups with two physical education teachers and two office personnel accompanying them.

this is one of the largest football tournaments to take place every year at the end of July. it started in 1982 and participants comprise of both, male and female, teams. the players are organised into age groups of under 12 to under 19. the tournament is held in two phases; in the first phase, games are played in a round-robin for-mat with four or five teams. the second phase is based on the first one’s result where teams advance into either the ‘a’ or ‘b’ finals brackets and these games are played in a knockout format. AnikA JAnnAt

the INSPIrAtIoN creWPDF (Physically-challenged Develop-ment Foundation), a registered non-profit organisation, hosted a summer challenge for all to participate in. one of the participants is team Saviors, a team comprised of about 30 volun-teers, two of which; ag mutasim islam and afiat maishah took initiative by organising a project called “Project: Let’s get ease.” on July 14, they set up a medical camp at the Jaago School in Korail, providing free medical care to those living in the slums. When interviewing ag mutasim islam, he said: “there are people here who haven’t gone to a doctor even once for the last six years! that is why we took the initiative to gather doctors to go to them rather than having them come to us.” Fu-wang group and many other individuals donated to this cause, the proceeds of which added up to a total of tk58,000. this money was then used to buy medicine and water filters to be donated to the people in need.

on July 18, the PDF challenge 2014 grand Finale took place at the biam auditorium, where team Saviors was awarded the most Service Provided award out of the 20 participating teams. they helped more than 1,200 people, after displaying their presenta-tion and speeches. and with that, they concluded their journey in this summer challenge. imAd khAn

Square faceSoften up the harsh angles of your face with the classic method of applying it in circles on the apples of your cheeks. use a light hand with the brush, and try not to go too wide with the circle, or it will make your face look even wider.

Round faceyou want angled ovals almost, but not exactly under your cheekbones. this will slim your face and give it some definition.

Long faceStart from under the pupils of your eyes, and sweep outwards to the middle of your cheeks in a thick semi circle. this should pull the gaze away from the vertical dimensions of your face.

Oval faceLucky you, just about any technique should suit you. go for a gentle sweep from under your cheekbones to the outer eye corner to really make those angles pop. sAbRinA FAtmA AhmAd

One side effect of fasting is a pale, wan face. Blush is a great way to wake it up without needing to go all out with a lot of make-up. There is no one-size-fits-all way to apply blush, however, so we’ve got tips on how to wear blush according to your face shape

bLuSh bASIcS

Wear plain coloured hijabs with sparkly bits. then, pin a large clip just above the ear area. this will look very interesting. you can even choose light fabrics such as georgette and attach pins with stones on them. a light patterned see-through fabric worn over a plain coloured one gives a very beautiful effect. a new trend is to wear square hijabs and braid three corners of it. this would require another scarf, though, to cover the neck and shoulders. also, you must be sure to choose a scarf that complements the shape of your face.

an embellished brooch can eliminate the need for pins or stones. use bow clips, pins with rhinestones,

and floral headpieces. however, while accessorising, you must ensure not to wear too much ‘’bling’’ as too many jewels might make it look tacky.

opt for hijab-friendly outfits. Wear button-up shirts with cute prints, and team it up with long skirts. maxi dresses are fashionable and very popular among teens these days. to wear over it, choose a vest or a shrug and you are good to go. For those of you who prefer to wear kameezes or kurtas, avoid printed or patterned scarves if your outfit already has a specific design on it. For finishing touches, don’t hesitate to add bangles, pendants, or rings to add funk to your look! AlveeRA mAmoon

the Royal enfield classic battle green inherits the vintage design language of the motorcycles from the 1950s. the most notable design cues are the 50s-styled nacelle, buffed engine compo-nents, toolboxes, and not to mention the traditional paint scheme.

the centrepiece on this epic thing is a single cylinder four-stroke engine with 499cc of displacement. married with a modern five speed gear box that features a twin wet clutch technol-ogy, the maximum power output of the dynamic duo is rated at 27.2hP.

if you don’t fancy being a dispatch rider in war-torn europe but riding into the distant sunset on a straight long stretch of asphalt, there is a Desert Storm version, which is painted in a disturbing shade of mushroom. and there is also the classic chrome ver-sion, which is smothered partially in fiery red and mostly in chrome bits.

Whichever version you choose, though, you will automatically become part of the celebration. Well, the fact is that the bullet is the world’s longest running production motorcycle; it was first made in Redditch in 1932. even thought Royal enfield started in life as

a british motorcycle company, it is now completely owned by india.

over the years the bullet has evolved drastically in terms of technol-ogy. the eu emissions regulations and the customers getting used to the old school looks with new school reliability from both the euro and the Japanese manufactures like triumph and Kawasaki, forced Royal enfield to up its game.

the upshot is, over the past few years, bullets have become blessed with modern age wizardry such as fuel injection, electric starters, a construc-tive engine and a five-speed gearbox which would probably disintegrate once you hit 100km/h!

until then, you can enjoy the brisk – but not frantic – acceleration, a break-ing system that will bring you to a standstill in seconds rather than weeks and handling which will most certainly seduce you into joyfully waltzing from bend to bend with self-confidence.

the classic battle green comes with a paint scheme

that is reminiscent of the War era, a time when Royal enfield motorcycles demonstrated their capabilities and worthiness by providing impeccable service to soldiers on the battle field. and eight decades later the bullet is all set to bring you the joys of modern motorcycling while dazzling with the aura of classic perpetual styling. tAhsin momin

After being voted the #1 most unlivable city in the world for the second year in a row, putting us behind cities in war-torn countries, it’s hard to feel good about living in Dhaka. And yet, the human spirit is nothing if not indomitable, and life continues to make us smile. This is made possible by an attitude of gratitude. This week, we look at that quality and how it helps

Life is beautiful

Life is certainly not overrated on the day before his daughter’s first birthday, m tasneer ali, aged 28, had gone to the roof to check out the space for fireworks for the upcoming celebration. everything was going fine, with high hopes for a good time, until tasneer ali took a wrong step. he was helping out with the construction up on the roof, which was two stories high above another roof, and he fell! he fell on his back, hitting his head on the concrete floor, splitting open his head, which bedded him on a pool of his own blood – the state at which his father found him in moments later. immediately, he was rushed to the hospital and somewhere along the way, tasneer ali regained consciousness for a brief moment, unable to see or speak,

only to feel the air and the iron taste of blood.

People thought he had died. after a traumatic accident such as this, who wouldn’t think so? thankfully enough, he did survive, with seven stitches around his head, and was able to get off what could have been his deathbed, amazing everyone who was crying throughout the day. this was nothing though; tasneer ali has survived much worse, a biking accident for one.

throughout the whole incident, for every waking moment, tasneer ali was only thinking about his daughter’s birthday and whether he’d be able to attend it. he did though. the next day, with bandages and crutches, he was able to hold his one year-old daughter

on her birthday and they watched the fireworks together with family and friends. there was a lot to be thankful for on that special day: the fireworks; the family and friends; the food; the speedy recovery; and the celebration of the beginning of new life – tasneer ali’s daughter’s first birthday.

When asked what he felt after his recovery, tasneer could only sum up his emotions in one word: thankfulness. ‘‘i have promised myself to be more careful from now onwards. i’ve begun to truly understand the value of life.’’ he claims to appreciate things now that he didn’t before, things that he had previously deemed unimportant or overrated. indeed, after an incident so noxious, he has started

to be thankful for the life that he has. he even mentioned: ‘‘now that i know i was this close to losing my own life, i don’t find as many problems with it as before. i haven’t been complaining about much, and i look at things differently.’’

not only do we undervalue our own lives, but as human beings, we also fail to appreciate small things in life, such as gifts, or something even as ordinary as the daily breakfast made by our mothers. it had been quite the same with tasneer ali, and only after such an incident had come upon him did he realise just how much he has to be thankful for.

i bet most of you are at that point in your lives where you just want live on your own. While that is appreciated, trust me, it isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. it’s going to be great though, living on your own, doing whatever you want.

Living the life. however, imagine this: you have to cook for yourself, no one is going to be at home waiting for you with a plate of food, making sure that you’ve eaten, or taking you out in your air-conditioned car shopping, when you’re feeling down. as long as

you are home, living with your parents, appreciate the things they do for you and what they go through to provide you with whatever you want or need at any moment. i live alone, and i get to come back every year, and believe me, for the whole year - from the moment i

leave, i can’t wait to come back home just so i can be spoiled to bits by my parents, with amazing food and live a life of luxury. What you’ve got now is great. be grateful and don’t take it for granted. kyoko bhuiyAn

A 100 Days of Gratitude#100happydays challenge is where you are expected to capture moments that truly make you happy, each day for a hundred consecutive days. While this may seem simple, i beg to differ. i remember days when it was irrationally easy, and then there were times when i had to literally go over entire day with a fine-tooth comb to find out one moment that warranted even half a smile.

by the end of the challenge, i

made a few choice observations. one, happiness usually follows a pattern. i had repeated most of the same things every week- one good friend, over a plate of good food. i realized that there are a few things that will keep making you happy over hundreds of days, in a hundred different ways, throughout your life.

moreover, i found that when nothing newly exceptional would happen, i could look to what i already

had. For instance, on a day when you have failed your exam and your mother has found out you weren’t at a study-over last night, what can really make you breathe happier? Why not that readily found rickshaw that agreed to take you to school despite the pouring rain? god knows it doesn’t happen every day! mundane things like my mother’s cooking, or my father’s kiss before leaving for work, or my neighbour’s 3 year-old

daughter solemnly gifting me a blank piece of paper as if her life depended on my acceptance of it, are blessings. Days like those made me realise that while happiness is bliss, normalcy is a close second. it made me imagine how colourless life would be in the absence of these things that i took for granted. it made me kneel down and say a prayer of gratitude. muniRA FidAi

Gaming nation in a nutshell?gaming nation is a youth gaming brand, which started its activities back in 2011 with a dream to promote gaming as an industry in bangladesh. they wanted to do this through online gaming and influencing young gamers to come up with ideas that would empower them through gaming in general. back in 2011, we started with 70 gamers and right now we have over 2,500 gamers and counting.

There are many new organisations similar to Gaming nation, how is it any different and do you think competition is a risk or opportunity in such a field?through gaming nation, we try to discuss and promote the possibilities of our youth. We share our ideas and take their feedback accordingly. We have complete faith in the youth and we also believe that together we can work on our very own gaming industry’s quality. it may be tough but if such organisations work with dedication, we can surely achieve our goal.

Are you working with any international organisations and what are the opportunities for bangladesh in this sector?both international and local companies are interested to be associated with us in such a major youth movement. currently, we are working with household

names like unilever bangladesh, Samsung, etihad airways, nokia, nestle bangladesh, computer Source Limited, corsair, and mSi. We are also supported by e-commerce sites like banglashoppers.com and buy24. We telecast our events online on Webtvnext. Local media have showed their interests to promote us as well.

Plus the taiwanese and indian gaming industries also expressed their wish to collaborate with us.

We also believe more local and international companies will be interested in the near future to invest in this flourishing sector.

the opportunities are huge in this market, and by utilising our young and talented minds, we believe we can create some extraordinary games.

What is your opinion about current generation of youth?gaming nation believes that our young generation is immensely talented and has got the potential to create something that would impact in changing the nation. they know how to chase their dreams and believe in their vision. their progressive attitude will only help them achieve their aims.

Anything else that our readers should know?We took the initiative to develop some international games, gaming websites and mobile apps as well. gaming nation is trying to make it possible for the youth to earn through something as popular as gaming. n

MAKING AN IMPActIt all started in 2011 when Imran thought of trying out his idea. It was a small attempt, probably something like a test-run, but it lead to the inception of “Gaming Nation,” a popular name among the gamers of Bangladesh. Creator Imran Fahad talks to Saudia Afrin and Baizid Haque Joarder about Gaming Nation and it’s journey till date

“We are here to change the game. chase your dream. believe in your vision and try to do your best in order to achieve it. Whatever you plant now, you can surely reap later”

Fahad, himselfidols: Sachin tendulkar, mahathir mohammad, bono from u2, mark Zuckerberg

Childhood Dream: to be an army officer

Motivation: the success story of Whatsapp motivates me. the developer of Whatsapp applied for a job at Facebook but he was rejected! he then chased his own dream to create Whatsapp and the rest is history.

Future plans of Gaming nation: We are working on developing a social gaming portal/website, something like Facebook for gamers, and mobile gaming apps! our upcoming gaming event is the national gaming championship 2014

Tournaments: gaming nation wants gaming as a whole to instill an air of festivity, similar to how FiFa World cup and icc World cup does.

DADDY’S LIttLe GIrL‘’hello!’’ i exclaimed in my loudest tone. my birthday had always been my favourite time of the year. Presents, treats, parties – who doesn’t enjoy these things? ‘‘i see you’re still the cheery birthday girl. happy birthday,’’ my mother said as she sipped on her cup of morning coffee.

From her quietness i could sense that she was trying to hint that she couldn’t afford a big present or a fancy meal this year. i didn’t want to lose the spirit, so i tried to appease myself by looking on the bright side: my father told me he would take me out to dinner and he promised it would be just the two of us. not the ideal sweet 16, but i felt elated at the thought of it, because ever since he had remarried,

i found it rather impossible to have him all to myself. in fact, that would have been the first time in a year we’d be spending an entire evening alone. happily, i helped my mother prepare lunch for a few of my friends i had called over for the occasion.

a fun afternoon passed, and it was finally time for me to get ready for dinner with my dad. excited, i got dressed and rushed to the restaurant where i found him waiting at a table. Soon enough, i found myself engaged in vivacious conversation with my father, laughing and catching up with one another. not long after the meal, he asked me what presents i had received this year. With a wry smile i let him know i had gotten none.

‘‘but you do know this dinner isn’t your only gift from me?’’my eyes lit up, as he produced what looked like two coupons from his pocket. immediately i understood that he had bought two tickets to the concert i had told him about a few months back, and he confirmed that one was for him. at that moment, i felt utter joy and gratitude towards my father for not allowing me to be disappointed on the day of the year that i looked forward to the most.

MorNING bLueSnatasha jerked awake from her slumber, feeling sweaty and annoyed. the ac was off, there was no electricity and she hated the noise the fan made. after sharing her misfortune through a Facebook status, she took a cold shower and got dressed in her neatly ironed school uniform; at least it would be cool in the car. then the thought hit her, it was a monday. her dad took the car to the factory, so she would have to take a rickshaw. ugh. She was in no mood to have her egg and sausage sandwich, which was ready on the dining table, and she rushed out in anger.

Rickshaws were always available at this part of uttara, and school was a 15-minute ride from her place. her bag felt heavy as she got on, listening to her favourite tune and thinking

whether the day could get any worse. it’s not as though the scorching morning heat was making it any easier. Passing by the main road, she glanced at a young girl getting off a local bus. no older than her, the other girl was clearly going to school too. She jumped off expertly onto the curb; smiling at her perfect landing, she strode confidently towards her destination clutching her fully utilised bag pack. her uniform was crumpled from her journey - clearly she didn’t live nearby. She was sweating too, but it wasn’t noticeable behind her wide smile. “maybe she’s early, or there wasn’t much traffic on the roads today,” thought natasha. but what annoyed her was that wide smile. how could she be so happy? Whatever ruined my morning was common on hers too.

her outlook made it probable that she ironed her clothes herself, made her own breakfast and packed her own bag. Similar discriminating thoughts filled natasha’s mind, until she started comparing. her own morning was a joint effort from her maid and her home teacher. For the first time, she was grateful for the little things as a smoothly ironed uniform, music and a warm breakfast. the fact that she lived so close to school was also a true blessing.

as natasha entered her school, her thoughts funneled down to one single line: “i should be grateful.” She finally pulled out a wide smile as the cool, welcoming waves of air conditioning hit her, and wondered, “What was she grateful for?” RAd shARAR

nikita- we’re pretty sure the name might remind you of an indian mega serial where the daughter-in-law is probably named that. Well, no! nikita is an american tV series that aired between 2010 and 2013. the show rapidly formed a large fanbase when it began. however, this fanbase withered after the first season. nonetheless it was received well.

So what is this show about? how a woman, nikita, escaped from a secret government funded organisation

a phone with a dead battery is less useful than a rock and is far more frustrating to carry around. a juiced out battery is infuriating at the best of times, but at other times it could very well be an issue of great urgency. and taking into account the unimaginable celerity at which smartphones eat away your battery, a portable power source is a godsend.

introducing LePow moonstone 6000, a monster of its species. Revitalising your biggest phone or tablet would be a piece of cake to its enormous capacity of 6,000mah. Featuring dual charging slots, one

the maxim of Dark Souls 2 is “go beyond Death.” a sequel to the first game, Dark Souls 2 was announced on December 7, 2012 and was released on the Playstation 3/Xbox 360 on march 11 earlier this year. it was quite exciting to anticipate what the developers had in store this time, given the difficulty levels this game is known for. a rumour was heard that this sequel will be much easier, since they wanted to attract more players. however, the rumour eventually turned out to be untrue and Dark Souls 2 is actually extremely challenging.

Players are confronted persistently by a hostile environment with remorseless enemies and bosses. as enemies are defeated, souls are collected, acting as both a form of currency and means to increase power. the game follows its hardcore formula, where players will surely spend more time blocking and evading rather than attacking. the ingame currency, are the souls of enemies you have collected after defeating them. and whenever the player dies, he/she loses all of it. on the other hand, if you die again before

retrieving your lost souls, you’ll never get them back again.

besides the staggeringdifficulty levels, Dark Souls 2 is without a doubt one of the best games released this year. it currently has a score of 92/100 at meteoritic. if you think you are up for a challenge, then this game might just be right for you, even if you have never played the first one. however, be warned that it is a pretty big game, clocking at almost 70 hours; at least you will get your money’s worth of gameplay.

in a building with lots of windows and a view of the landscape, a prisoner is suddenly forced into a cell by a Russian soldier. Suddenly, an entirely new dimension comes to the screen, an old man putting aside a match box. While talking to the other inmate, the curious new prisoner finds a red box and asks “Did you make this?” his companion replies: “Do not open because you might regret it.” however, this leads the new inmate to do the exact opposite.

ultimately he ends up discovering a small replica of the very room he is in, inside the box. For quite a while the prisoner’s pale face makes it hard for the viewer to understand what is going on. a big shock is experienced when the roof of the room suddenly opens up along with the box’s lid. the mystery takes a more vivacious turn when the prisoner puts his hand into the box and a gigantic version of his hand appears right in front of him. What happens next? Will the new prisoner try to escape from the tiny box into the room back again? and why was the companion’s last dialogue: “Send the next one in!”

this is the story of “Room 8,” a short film from the collection of the bombay Sapphire imagination series. the movie won the title of best Short Film at the british academy of Film and television arts (baFta) this year. on writer geoffrey Fletcher’s script that lacks any stage direction, director James W griffiths injects his mysterious concept that revolves around the red box in a Russian prison cell, the nosy prisoner and a huge collection of match boxes inside the companion’s drawer.

after watching the short film, you’ll find yourself wondering what griffith’s mind was playing at. Was he trying to create an illusion or a magic trick. or did he, through this movie, want to portray something deeper, such as a metaphorical narrative rather than just entertain and impress the audience? called “Division.” after a few years, she comes out of hiding and decides to bring them down. Does she succeed? you will have to watch and find out!

imDb rated this series 7.7 out of 10. this series basically focuses on how strong a woman can get when it comes to vengeance. although, the concept might remind you of the series “Revenge,” but nikita is nothing like it. maggie Q portrays the lead role of nikita exceptionally well. She successfully represents nikita as the strongest

and bravest character in the show. moreover, the show has an extremely twisted plot, so you will never know what to expect next. you will find plenty of things that one might crave for in a series; action, romance, loyalty, betrayal and the strength of true friendships.

in fact, according to many people, nikita is one of the best action-adventure series’ to be released till date. this series is definitely worth a try.

three WAYS to MAKe Your reLAtIoNShIP ‘SIbLING ProoF’

GoNe IN 60 SecoNDS

you rush out of your coaching classes, take a quick shower and fancy yourself up for that special date with your beau. you race downstairs to your car when all you find is a blank garage staring back at you. yes, your sister has decided to zoom off to one of her friend’s dawats, which is probably on the other side of the city. there is really no point in shouting at your sister, because that may spite her to be more forgetful on purpose. coordinate with your chauffeur; make sure he always lets you know before any of your siblings decide to take off. also, tell your sister/brother that you understand their classes are important, but the least they could do is be kind enough to give you a heads up before dashing out.

We all love our siblings, some more than the others. But there are times when we try our best to not strangle them. TMAG picks five ways siblings can ruin your relationship and also shows you tricks on how to deal with these little nuisances natasha Rahman

the brIbe

this is by far the worst kind of sibling to have. this one will look through all your secret text messages, snoop through your mail, and keep an eye out when you go on dates. they know that the folks don’t need to be informed, but the smirk on this sibling’s face is enough to give you the chills. you either bribe them with their favourite snacks or cough up enough dough to keep their mouths shut. the habit of giving bribes, even if it’s a meager amount, will start you off on the wrong foot. instead, dig up his/her secrets, so that both of you can call a truce and stop using the bribe card.

brINGING uP the

DAYS thAt Are GoNeWe all have a past, and when we look back at it, there are definitely a few decisions that we all wish we could alter. now what happens when your little sister/brother brings up your past in front of your current beau? that calls for a very embarrassing situation with your sweetheart. explain to the little brat that digging up an old grave will only lead to more quarrels and confusions. always use the “place yourself in my shoe” card. that works like a charm, every time.
