Section I. INTRODUCTIONTM 11-5820-882-10-HR

1. Scope.This publication provides an overprinted DA Form

2062 (Hand Receipt) which lists the contents of

Components of End Item (COEI), Basic IssueItems (BII), and Additional Authorization List

(AAL) items related to Radio Set AN/PRC-68.

2. General.a. Section II is the overprinted DA Form 2062

which l ists the l ine i tem entry for Radio Set

AN/PRC-68 and the content of COEI, BII, and

AAL extracted from TM 11-5820-882-10. Th e

listings consist of exactly th e same items an d ar e in

the sam e sequence a s t hose l i s t i ngs in TM

11-5820-882-10.

b. The overprinted DA Form 2062 will eliminate

manual preparation of the form and will assist

organizations in inventorying and accounting for

property as required by AR 710-2.

c. Local reproduction of the overprinted DA

Form 2062 is authorized. However, organizations

shall comply with local policies in the reproduction

of DA Form 2062 by office copying equip men t, fieldprinting plant, or duplicating plant facilities.

d. Additional copies of this publication may be

requisitioned from: US Army Adjutant General

Publications Center, 1655 Woodson Road, St.Louis, MO. 63114 in accordance with Chapter 3, AR

310-2.

3. Explanation of Blocks and Columns (DAForm 2062)

a. FROM. Enter the organization for which the

property book is maintained.

B. TO. Enter the (UIC) and the hand receipt file

number of the unit/personnel receiving the prop-erty.

c. CATALOG NO. Contains th e technical man ua l

(TM) number of th e operator’s ma nu al.

d. CURR OF ALW. Not applicable.

e. ITEM. Contains end item short title.

f. STOCK NO. National stock number of the item

described. items without stock numbers should be

requisitioned by Federal Supply Code for Manu-

facturer (FSCM) and Part Number direct from: US

Army Communications and Electronics Materiel

Readiness Command, ATTN: DRSEL-MM, ForthMonmouth NJ 07703.

g. ITEM DESCRIPTION. Identifies the itemcontained in the COEI, BII, and AAL. The first

ent ry sha l l be the l ine i tem’s Expenda bi l ity

(EXP)/Accounting Requirements Code (ARC), in

parentheses, in front of the line item name. One of

the following codes will apply:

(N) forNonexpendable:

(D) for Durable:

Items n ot consumed in use, re-taining their identi ty during use,and requiring that accountable-ity be maintained throughout

the life of the item.Nonconsumable components of

sets, kits, outfits, and as-sembla ges; all tools in F SC’s5110,5120,5130,5133, 5136,5140,5180, 5210, 5220, and 5280; andany other nonconsumable with aprice in excess of $60.00 notalready “N”.

(X) for Expandable: Items regardless of type classifica-tion or price an d which areconsum ed in use. In cludes allclass 9 repair parts. Items notconsumed in use which cost$50.00 or less and not already “N”or “D”.

In addit ion, i t wil l contain nomenclature, and

serial/USA number (if applicable) that will be

useful in identifying and controll ing the i tem.

Serial number to be inserted and initialed on all

copies by the hand receipt holder.

h. T1(a). Quantity of each item as listed in the

COEI, BII, and AAL.

i. C2(t). Leave blank.

j. BALANCE

(1) 1. Enter the total quantity possessed by the

receiving unit/personnnel for each item listed. All

quan t i ty t o t a l s w i l l be advanced to the nex t

balance column on any item changes, annotated“adjusted”, dated, and signed by the individual

receiving the property.

(2)2. The individual receiving the property will

sign and date the appropriate balance column on

the bottom of the last page below a drawn line.

When an inventory is taken, the column will be

annotated “Per Inventory”.

(3) 3 through 12. Same as (2) above.

k. PAGE NO./NO. OF PAGES. Contains page

number and total pages for the COEI, BII, and

AAL portions of the hand receipt. Hand receipt

holder initial ea ch page no. (only when two or m ore

forms are involved). When hand receipt holderschange, the old initials will be lined out and new

hand receipt holder will initial each page.
