Greek Mythology, ending the unit with the reading of the book, The Lightning Thief .

We’ve discussed why the Greeks created the gods and goddesses (to explain natural occurrences and human behavior), but WHO were they?

Your job is to become an expert on a greek god/goddess and give their significance to the ancient Greeks.

Following the list provided for you, you are to create a Power Point presentation of the information you found.

Family Tree: Child of? Parent of?Personality: Based on what you read,

draw your own conclusions. Tell what kind of personality your person had (jealous, spiteful, caring, etc…). Provide examples.

Offerings? What was offered and why? Summarize a myth of your god/goddess.Any other facts or tidbits that you found

You should have at least 8 slides in your power point

Make it pleasing to the eyes!Each slide you create must have some sort of

graphic (picture) that relates to the information on the slide.

You can animate each slide (but DO NOT time them – questions may arise during the presentation!)

literature. - Day Two through Five: (Tech Town)

Research more information and then start and finish your Power Point. Use the internet to gather any other information you need, as well as any graphics for your slides.
