Example of how I delivered the lesson:

Starter activity: (2 minutes) Students paired up. One will act as blind person, the other will give instruction & guide the blind to walk around the room.

Pair-share: Students share their experience (How their friends guided them)

Sorting Out: Students to experience blind contour drawing of any object in the classroom, eg clock. Teacher demonstrates how to do blind contour drawing. To use the same concept of how the friend guided ( eyes, hand coordination).

Going Further: Students trace contour of their hands on paper. Next, Carousel – students move to friends’ drawing to trace the contour of their hands. By end of lesson, students will have variety of patterns made of hands.

Example 2:

Based on the same lesson plan given, I have generated another activity. Using same objectives, same techniques. This time focus on the anatomy of human. (Which is related to their UI - The effective interactions between human body systems contribute to health and survival. )

Starter Activity: (5 mins) Students practise on blind contour drawing. They draw the person sitting across them. Students will study the structure of the head, where are the eyes, nose, mouth.

Students grouped in 4s and given 2 pieces of mah-jong paper each. They will discuss, and then layout their friend on top of the paper. In any pose they like.

Trace the friend on the paper. After that, students decide what to add on the drawing. Thick Black outline, paint, crayons, let them explore on materials learnt in previous lessons.
