ABSTRACT

“A STUDY ON EFFECTIVENESS OF RECRUITMENT PROCESS, IN THE

PROFESSIONAL COURIER CHENNAI” in THE PROFESSIONAL COURIERS was used

to study the existing recruitment and selection process and various factor involved in it.

Both primary and secondary sources were used to collect data. The primary data is

collected from both, employers and employees of The Professional Couriers through a well

constructed questionnaire. Employers and employees

The secondary data was collected from various journals, magazines, articles, various sites

and company records.

From the analysis it was inferred that the organization gave preference to internal sources

rather than external sources. Some of the employees felt that the company would still fasten the

process.

From the study it was found that the candidate and employees are satisfied with their

present recruitment and selection process.
