This series contains documents handwritten or typed by C. S. Lewis, as well as by his older

brother, Warren H. “Warnie” Lewis. Letters written by either or both of the Lewis brothers to

June/Jill Flewett-Freud are included in the subseries “Letters to June Flewett-Freud,” and letters

written to Lewis’ student Mary Neylan are in the subseries “Letters to Mary Neylan.” This series

is organized into four subseries by types, and items within the subseries are organized by date

written.
