2) Autarsys GmbH

Erich Bosch, Managing Director

Description of business/ short descriptive profile

Autarsys provides containerized energy storage systems (ESS), which provide continuous power to consumers in off-grid or weak-grid areas at a competitive price. It allows to enhance the share of renewable energies (solar PV or wind) to go up to 90%, so that the diesel generator becomes just a standby. Compared to pure diesel-based energy supply the ESS with renewable energy sources provides power at average 30% less costs. Another application for the Autarsys ESS are on-grid applications such as energy arbitrage and peak-shaving incorporating uninterruptable power supply functionality. The system is available as a turn-key hybrid system (PV-Wind/ Diesel/ Battery) in a range from 50-10,000 kW power and can be commissioned easily as it comes pre-tested and pre-installed in a standard 20 or 40 feet high-cube containers. That makes the Autarsys ESS the perfect energy management solution for farms, hotels, industries and small settlements in remote locations.

Features The core of the storage system are lithium-ion batteries. Other features of the energy storage system are: > Sealed “plug & play” system suitable for all climate zones. Completely sealed

container requires minimum maintenance (keeps stable temperature without dust, moisture, salty air and insects);

> Reduction of operating cost; > Remote monitoring; > Long-lasting lithium-ion battery system (>10 years lifetime); the supplier

Samsung guarantees 4,000 loading cycles; > Environmentally friendly and low noise exposure in comparison to diesel

generators; > Best quality components with cutting edge technology Made in Germany; > Warranty and maintenance contracts remain over ten years in effect.

Scope of services > Holistic consultancy service beginning with the prefeasibility study; > System planning and realization of project; > Investment in energy storage system; > System provision on basis of a lease agreement.
