Rising Action

The rising action in the book is when people are finding out the magnificent Titanic is sinking. At first, people thought it was just a small dent, but we know now it was much more serious than that. The water started flowing in the boiling room first, and it slowly worked it’s way up, threatening the lives of many people. Then, people started to panic.

ClimaxThe climax is when the Titanic actually sunk, and people were in life boats. People were really scared and nervous at the time. They were worried for their family and loved ones. Even if they did get lucky to be in a lifeboat, you could have easily frozen to death. Also, many times the ‘father’ of the family was held behind. This was a very exhilarating part of the book.

Falling Action

The falling action was when the people had reached land again. They were very relieved, however many people did not make it, or were severely injured. The Titanic sinking was over, but no one will ever forget how many lives it took down with it.

Resolution This is a historical event. It was a tragedy. It impacted

hundreds of people, by ruining so many lives. Many people went on the Titanic going to make another home somewhere else, but never found themselves able to make it. Though the Titanic has perished in the material world it will always be in our hearts as well as all of the people who died with it.
