GENERAL:

- Fixed Ensnare to work while wielding a staff

- Several skill descriptions updated for clarity

- Fixed particle effect artifacts remaining on the ground when fighting

Barmanu

- Fixed Ormenos so that he is no longer invincible if a player does not

enter the combat area and engage him immediately

- Fixed characters freezing when using an item that grants the charge

ability and dual wielding

- Fixed pets occasionally causing boss chests not to open

- Implemented the ability to turn the day/night cycle on and off. Day/night

cycles are currently on by default.

To turn day/night cycle off, go to the My Games\Titan Quest\Settings

directory and open the options.txt file after changing any option in game.

Find the setting called "dayNightCycle" and change its value to false. If

the setting does not exist, add the line ìdayNightCycle = falseî to the end

of the options.txt file.

Boss Monsters- Changed Typhon encounter and difficulty. Typhon now actively uses all of

his powers. He no longer requires interaction with the statues. The

statues are no longer attackable.

cycles and awarding proper quest tokens to advance the quest. This is in

reference to issues some players were having with some of the ship captains

updating as well as Phaedrus in the Catacombs.

GENERAL:

- Changed mouse input to swap left and right buttons when the option is

selected in Windows

- Fixed NPC dialogue fading when bumped by pets

- Fixed crash when loading a custom map in-game that contains a sheep

herder

- Fixed a word wrap error in monster and NPC name dialogs that appears in

some languages

- Implemented Time Smoothing to reduce hitches and decrease blur when the

player character is moving

- Implemented logging system to track crashes in Titan Questô. Upon a

crash, Titan Questô will create a log file named "Exceptions.txt" in the My

Games\Titan Quest directory.

- Implemented Triple Buffering to allow smoother gameplay and less blurring

with V-Sync enabled.

To enable Triple Buffering, go to the My Games\Titan Quest\Settings

directory and open the options.txt file after changing any option in game.

Find the setting called "tripleBuffer" and change its value to true. If

the setting does not exist, add the line ìtripleBuffer=trueî to the end of

the options.txt file. Note that enabling triple buffering uses more Video

memory, so you may have to try it both ways to find the correct setting for

your system.

VIDEO:

- Fixed a 'Fatal Error' message appearing when the game is booting up after

the update process on a system with a Mobilityô RadeonÆ 9200

- Improved video memory test to correctly identify 128 MB ATI RadeonÆ x300

and ATI Mobilityô RadeonÆ 9200 cards

- Fixed graphic elements becoming corrupted when running NVIDIAÆ 6600

series card over a long period of time

- Fixed crashes and graphical corruptions related to low video memory on

PCs

MULTIPLAYER:

- Fixed slow down in gameplay due to large amounts of player chat

- Fixed items being lost in the trade window if the server shuts down while

the trade window is open

 

EDITOR:

- Portal selection with the portal link tool can now be selected from the

front and the back. Previously some portals required 180 degree rotation

to be selected.

- Portal status colors will now render properly with the portal link tool

Anyone playing on the internet will recieve the patch automatically.

However, in LAN (local network) games, if any player receives the

error "Unable to connect to server," then they should make sure

they are updated to the latest patch.
