‘Tis the Season…

No matter how many times I walk this trail, seeing the house this season,

blessings full of good cheer.

The wreath on the lamppost lighting the way.

A snowman pointing the way.

What would the Holiday be without that?

All the chimneys showing life in the house, with smells in the air

of its good seasons to share.

The window is open so the cat can get in.

The tree in the window with lights glistening.

How many times have I walked this path,

only to say…

”there’s no place like that.”

“Home for the Holidays.”
