MEETING VENUEHumanitas Congress Center, Via Manzoni 113

20089 Rozzano, Milan, Italy

In recent years, neurovascular surgery has been going through an identity crisis.

The fast evolution of endovascular techniques has undermined the traditionaltherapeutic treatments in AVM, Aneurysms and dural artero-vneous Fistulas. Surgeryon the other hand, has benefitted from this conflict and the invasiveness has beensignificantly reduced as a result.

Nowadays , the approaches offered vary depending on the medical centre and thedifferent approaches used in various centers often confuse patients.

We think that in this transitional world it is necessary to periodically take stock of thesituation, and to objectively compare experiences in order to evolve together.

The aim of this course is to start a dynamic and iterative development path in thecerebrovascular field, together with other reference centres, both at national and atinternational level. By trying to give an answer to the well known and evidentfragmentation of the pathology, we aim to reach common objectives, recommendationsand above all results.
