How to construct sentences. What to do ?

A. List the nouns and verbs.

Noun * a word or a group of words that represent a person,

a place, a thing or activity, ( cloth, tea, football ), a

quality or idea ( danger, happiness ).

Verb * a word or a group of words that used to describe an

action, experience, or state : for example : come,

put on, be etc.

I would choose to buy Frenzy Blouse because it looks interesting and

nice. It is white with green flowers lace that makes it looks beautiful.

Besides, it is made of silk that is my aunt’s favourite. It is available in

small and medium sizes, so I would buy the medium size as I think it

fits my aunt well. The blouse is sold at Watson Hyper Mall that is not

far from my place. The price is also reasonable that is RM30. If I buy

the blouse for my aunt, she could also get a free bead purse as a free

gift. I hope my aunt will be happy with my present for her on her

Circle the keywords - present or past tense.

Organize the writings into a few paragraphs

Write a lot of simple sentences , a few compound and complete

sentences.

Write neatly and clearly.

Write a paragraph of introduction and closing.

Insert the appropriate words and write sentences.

( adverbs, proverbs, adjectives, similes etc )

Add linking words to show the flow of the story (Later on, After

that, A few minutes later, Then Finally, suddenly, unfortunately,

accidentally, etc

Check your grammar, spelling and punctuation by reading the

whole sentences.

Hamid is twelve years old. He walks to school

everyday as his school is a stone’s throw away from his

house.

One day, while Hamid was going home from

school, he saw his friends buying burgers at Azlan’s stall.

He was hungry. He wanted to buy a burger but he did not

have any money. Hamid had lost his money at school. He

was sad.

Meanwhile, his class teacher, Puan Mawar, was on

her way home. She saw Hamid was looking at his friends.

She was sorry for him and decided to help . Puan Mawar

went closer to Hamid. She took out some money from her

purse and gave it to him. Hamid refused to take the

money but Puan Mawar insisted. Finally, he accepted

gladly. He thanked his teacher for giving him the money.

As Puan Mawar walked away, Hamid rushed to

the burger stall. He was as happy as a lark because he

could buy a burger for himself. He quickly bought a

double cheese burger which is his favourite. When he

reached home , he ate the burger. He shared it with his

brother. He told his mother that Puan Mawar gave him

the money. The next day, his mother asked him to

return the money.

When Hamid reached his school, he returned the

money to Puan Mawar. However she refused to take the

money from Hamid. Hamid realized that his teacher

was very generous and kind-hearted.

All the way home, he was thinking about the orange juice in the refrigerator in his house. When he reached home, he searched for his house keys but he could not find them. They were not in his pockets. They were also not in his school bag.(Band B )

Although he knew that he did not have to worry as his mother had another set of keys, Ali was still disappointed with himself for being very careless. He wondered where he might have kept his keys. He could not do anything at that moment but to just sit and wait for his mother. It was already two o’clock in the afternoon. He had waited for one and a half hours. His mother was still not home. He was getting very hungry and tired. His throat was dry and he was starting to cry. ( Band A )
