and volunteers to aid in accounting; please

pray for God's provision for workers in

this vital department. The Finance office

not only receives and processes financial

support, but also maintains relationships with

so many who pray and give to GRN.

27 Wed 6,400 Languages Available

GRN has over 6,400 languages in its audio library—

most are available online. Pray that these evangelistic

recordings will be played across the globe as more

people become aware of their availability through the

GRN website and the 5fish app.

28 Thu Roland Heck

Pray for Roland who is in San Jose, California,

assisting his son in a job search and working

on his mother's house. He is meeting

with churches and other groups to

share with them the ministry of audio

recordings as tools to reach out to immigrants

and refugees in their areas.

29 Fri Our Resources

Cell phones have reached the poorest areas of the world.

Most are equipped with micro SD cards which hold many

recordings. This technology is one of the easiest ways to

bring the story of Christ into closed countries or to share

with those without Internet access. Pray for widespread

distribution of these tools, and funds to purchase them.

30 Sat Tisdale Family

Please remember Dan as he continues to

recover from car accident injuries

suffered in April. Pray for their son

Daniel starting college in California,

and for the rest of the family who will

be spending time in Alaska before returning

to Thailand.

Dear Friends,

My wife Valerie and I are slowly reading through the Old Testament together, and recently this last verse from Numbers 7 really struck me between the eyes:

And when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim; and it spoke to him. [ESV]

What must it have been like for Moses, a mere man, to hear directly from God in such a tangible way? We know that previously when Moses had spent time in God's presence his face shone in front of the people, simply because he was reflecting the glory of the Creator God, after spending time with him on the mountain.

In 2 Chronicles 16 we read the story of King Asa, who at one time had relied on the Lord, only to have turned from that godly reliance to earthly reliance on the king of Syria. God reminded Asa:

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. [ESV]

In prayer we have the awesome ability to come, without blame, before the presence of the God of the universe, to give praise and to make requests, to reflect his godliness and goodness, and rely on him. Let's do that together in prayer this month as we pray for the mission of God.

1 Fri Ramadan Continues

GRN is praying with millions of Christians from around the

globe as a worldwide movement of prayer focuses on the

Muslim world during Ramadan. This important month for

Muslims continues through June 14. Join with us praying for

Muslims to be born again during this time when many of

them are more aware of spiritual matters.

2 Sat Media Focused on Muslims

Praise God that the number of ministries using various

media directed towards Muslims has exploded. The amount

of literature, Bibles, CDs, DVDs, and downloadable

resources (including GRN content) has increased greatly.

Pray for many Muslims to turn to Christ as a result of

hearing the gospel through many forms.

3 Sun GRN Ministries in Muslim Countries

Pray for GRN ministries to be fruitful in countries where

Islam is a dominant influence including Pakistan, Indonesia,

Bangladesh, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, and most of Western

and Northern Africa. Pray for grace, protection and courage

for those in hostile climates to be able to carry out

ministries that result in Muslims coming to Christ.

4 Mon Asu of Nigeria

The Asu people is a small Islamic group without any

Christian resources. It can be so easy to overlook groups

such as this. Pray for a team from GRN Nigeria to find an

opportunity to record their language and that the people

would soon receive the seeds of the gospel.

5 Tue Staff Vacations

As several of the USA staff take vacations this summer

pray for safety in travel, for renewal and refreshing for

each one, and for God's blessing on their time away. Pray

for Geneva, Greg, Blaise, Irene, and others spending time

out of the office.

6 Wed Volunteers Needed

Pray for a new influx of regular volunteers to assist with

extra projects and daily tasks around the Temecula office.

We especially need volunteers for the reception desk and

to do data entry for the Language Tracking department.

7 Thu Global Studio

Global Studio Coordinator Noel Bachelor, GRN Australia,

carries heavy responsibilities coordinating the studio work

in several countries. He also has a significant amount of

work evaluating incoming recordings from the field. Pray

for wisdom for Noel in prioritizing and handling his tasks.

8 Fri Home Assignment

GRN field staff in Vanuatu, David and Gail

Rogne, have returned to the USA for home

assignment. Pray this will be a time of

renewal, refreshment, and inspiration as

they share their field testimonies from

the last four years.

9 Sat A New Generation of GRN Leaders

Pray for the next generation of GRN leaders—men and

women full of the Holy Spirit and with a passion to make

Jesus known among least-reached peoples. They must

faithfully carry out the GRN vision in complete dependence

on God to allow him to perform his wonderful works

through GRN.

10 Sun New Player Available

Pray for the ministry of a new player that the

USA office is making available for distribution.

The Omega solar player is preprogrammed with

messages designed for refugees, but can be

programmed with any of our material. We

currently have 100 in stock available for ministry.

11 Mon Publications

Pray for the ministry of our publications. As the GRN Magazine

goes out and as people pray through this prayer guide, may the

chorus of prayer ascend with might, bringing God's answers for

those still without the good news in their language.

12 Tue International Script Committee

The scripts are the heart of our recordings. Pray

for the committee who oversees

development and approval of each script.

Pray for Elizabeth Chan, GRN USA, as she joins

the team as co-chair of the committee.

13 Wed Praise

"Soar up above the smog and noise and distress about you into

the clear blue of God's heaven through the wings of PRAISE."

14 Thu Yaaku of Kenya

The Yaaku people live along the coastal strip of Kenya. The GRN

Kenya team is trying to locate good Yaaku speakers to begin a

recording project. Pray for success and ask the Lord to use the

gospel stories to impact lives for eternity.

15 Fri Benin and Togo Languages

The GRN Cameroon team asks prayer for the promotion of GRN

materials in Arufo, Bisa, Fufulde, Gnaga, and Moba. These

languages are spoken in Benin and Togo. The Cameroon team

wants to see widespread usage of these recordings so Christ

can be honored by more peoples as they surrender to him.

16 Sat Twelve Madagascar Translations

GRN South Africa has arranged for several teams to work in

Madagascar on program translations in 12 languages. Progress

is very slow. Ask the Lord to give each team accuracy and grace

to persevere so they can soon move on to the recording phase.

17 Sun Saber 2

GRN Australia technicians are designing a circuit board for the

new Saber2 mp3 player. Pray for a durable and usable machine

which will enable people living in remote areas to hear the good

news of Jesus in their first language.

18 Mon Board Governance

Vital to the success of GRN are national boards that have a clear

understanding of their role in helping each center fulfill their

GRN goals. Pray that each board member would be prayerful,

actively involved, and full of integrity.

19 Tue Board Follow-up

Thank the Lord for a devoted Board of Directors for the

USA office. Last month's meeting was productive and

helpful in determining some future moves. Pray for follow-

up required to implement the vision.

20 Wed Server Operations

We want website visitors and customers to have

uninterrupted access to GRN's resources. Ask God to give

GRN technicians in Australia and the USA necessary skills

and wisdom to maintain continuous operation of our

server infrastructure.

21 Thu Online Store

Pray for the development of an online store for

the USA web site. Blaise VanderLinden,

Operations Manager, is working on the

initial content and ideas for the store.

Pray for the IT department's part in

programming and establishing all that's

needed for effective implementation.

22 Fri Office Reorganization

Pray for us as we relocate and consolidate some of our

office space here in Temecula. Pray for safety as heavy

and sensitive equipment is moved from downstairs to

upstairs. Pray for patience and understanding during

transition times while people's desks, and computers,

get rearranged.

23 Sat Summer Trip

Pray for Larry DeVilbiss and a USA staff member as their

survey/recording trip to a country in Eastern Europe grows

closer. They will look for opportunities to bring the gospel

to a language group with no known believers, and to

establish contact with other priority languages in the area.

24 Sun Praying Scripture

Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make

the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be

gracious and attractive so that you will have the right

response for everyone. Col. 4:5-6 NLT May this be true of

every GRN worker.

25 Mon Summer Intern Program

Please pray as we seek to develop an effective internship

program whereby we can encourage college and career

age workers to experience world missions through service

to GRN, and possibly see some led by God to join GRN USA

long term.
