High end of the scope, with eyepiece and uninvited Starlings near top of dome. The tube is 9 feet long, and kids needed to climb on a high scaffolding on wheels to peek through the eyepiece!

The Old Mirror (from behind) – those white spots are where the reflective coating has been etched away from neglect.

The Old Mirror (from behind) – was sent out for re-coating in 1975 and came back with a very high degree of quality!
