She  was  diagnosed  with  Sjogren’s  syndrome,  an  

autoimmune  disease  in  which  immune  cells  attack  saliva  and  

tear  glands.  

Interesting  Fact  #3  Venus  presently,  follows  a  vegan  diet,  which  helps  decrease  inflammation  and  reduces  the  energy-­‐sapping  symptoms  of  the  disease  through  the  reduction  of  calories,  pesticides  and  sugars.
