Timeline Assignment

• Each student will create a timeline of major events, art movements, and/or artworks over a specific period. Students will choose one period on which to focus from the following list. Each entry on the timeline should include a brief description.

• Each timeline should be typed or written neatly on the timeline paper provided.

• Timelines must be turned in on Tuesday.

Time Periods

• 3000 BCE – 500 BCE• 500 BCE – 500 CE• 500 – 1050• 1050 – 1550• 1550 – 1750• 1750 – 2000(+)
