Grade Level: Kindergarten Subject: Mathematics Summary: The purpose of this PowerPoint is to help
students learn how to represent numbers using animals.
Objective: Given a picture of a different amount of an animal the student must give a number to represent it 0-20 with 100% accuracy.
Standard: CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.A.3 Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
COUNTING!
Now we all know how to count on our fingers but what about using animals?
Lets try to count how many puppies there are together!
