“Bye”. Said Kayla’s mom.

“Ahh”. Said Kayla as her feet touched the cool sand and the wind blew

against her pitch black bikini.

Even though she knew she’d NEVER go swimming she thought it made

her look like she would. Casey ran out and said “How come you’re dad

never comes?”

“NONE OF YOU’RE BISSNIS”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kayla shouted.

She replied annoyed with an attitude. But really she didn’t want

anyone to know her parents are divorced.

“Let’s go inside Kayla said because she knew what Casey was thinking

lets go in the ocean. Was what Casey was thinking because she poured

out and said “what about the ocean”. “NO”! Kayla just kept insisting on

going inside. Finally Casey agreed. Kayla slid on her jean shorts and said

“Race ya there”. But she was already sprinting away. When she got

there she said looking back “I almost had to swim. That was a close one.

“Truth or dare,” Chase asked Jamie.

“Dare,” Jamie answered.

“I dare you to go to Casey’s mom and take the marshmallows.

Then throw them up in the air and scream it’s raining.” She was back in

a flash her cheeks bright red cracking up. “So what did she say?”

“She stood there like I was crazy.” Then she threw a bag of

marshmallows at Chase. We all stated cracking up. “Ahh” Kayla said as

the night breeze blew against her.

Casey chose dare. They dared her to go in the ocean that would

usually be a bad dare. But the night water was murky and who knew a

shark could be hungry they live in Hawaii! Casey said

NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone stared at Kayla she was the tuff

girl in the group but she was scared to go in the ocean in the DAY forget

the night. But not really she stood there frozen. She felt like fainting but

she said “yes”.

While the cold water drizzled on her feet as she stepped in she

thought they didn’t care about Casey NOT going in the water, would

they care if I am but at that moment she realized she was all the way in

the water and that she wasn’t scared any more WOW she thought I like

the ocean she came out and told her friends about her fear and how it

wasn’t a fear any more.

Finally the truth that Kayla chose that Casey asked “Why is you’re

dad never here.” Kayla didn’t know what to say so she said “IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

um my um parents are divorced.” WOW. Everyone was in shock event

Kayla because she couldn’t believe that she just told everyone! They all

said why you didn’t tell us before “I was afraid you would treat me

different.” “I would NEVER” said Casey. They all agreed.

The next day Kayla said to Casey with a sly smile “race ya to the

ocean”. But she was already sprinting away. This time Casey didn’t ask

were her dad was. This time Kayla wanted to go in the ocean this time

it was different.
