Our beautiful timber sash windows are designed and made especially for you by Master Craftsmen, using traditional methods allied with modern technology to deliver a product that is both beautiful in appearance and durable.

As with our timber casement windows, you can tailor your sash windows with glass decorations such as Georgian bars, and specify obscure glass for

privacy. All our timber windows can be specified in a protective paint or stain finish, including our range of RAL or Farrow and Ball colours. Our bespoke sliding sash windows come in your choice of traditional weights and pulleys or the more modern spiral balances. We will fit vent locks and hardware in a choice of finishes giving you control over the look of the final product that will sit in your home.

We also provide a variation of our sliding sash window that has the latest dimensions, suitable for new builds where the windows’ solar gain is of the utmost importance.

Our Bygone sash windows feature a realistic wood grained UPVC surface that requires virtually no maintenance. Available in white as standard, you can also choose a cream finish, or the contrast of black frames with white

sashes. Or for something even more bespoke, you can choose any Farrow and Ball or RAL colour finish. The premiere Symphony model features wood grain texture on all profiles; and traditional, vertical and sealed, “butt

jointed” construction, providing the perfect appearance. The exclusive ‘Super-Slim’ 39mm Transom, is a ‘Bygone only’ feature, sure to turn heads and impress even the most discerning conservation officer.

CASE STUDY

We recommended our timber alternative window range, ‘Evolution’. This provided Mr and Mrs Jarvis with all the look and feel of timber, but without the associated maintenance. We supplied and installed the ‘Evolution Flush’ window with the Astragal bar feature, which provided a superb and sympathetic finish to the traditional style of the property. Nearby property owners even stopped to enquire about the windows we installed as they could not believe they weren’t timber.

Mr and Mrs Jarvis wanted to replace the windows and doors in their home, retaining its traditional appearance but avoiding the future maintenance associated with timber windows.

The mature age of the property meant some windows had to be lined with timber architrave internally, which required multiple on-site visits from our installations team throughout the various stages of the project, ensuring our customer was pleased with the end finish.
