Bursaries 2015/16* *Figures are provisional and subject to approval
by the Office for Fair Access, so are subject to change. To be
eligible you must meet the following criteria: Hold a firm offer to
study at Kingston Be eligible to receive student finance Household
income assessed as 25,000 or less Have not studied at university
level before Neither parents hold a university-level qualification
or you are a mature student The Kingston Bursary is worth 2,000 for
the first year of your course. Progression scholarships of up to
1,500 will be awarded in second and third years of study dependent
upon successful progression through your course and your
grades.

Widening participation: What we do and why -Work with over 100
schools/colleges (London + S/E) -Last year worked with over 6,000
students -Educate young people about the benefits of Higher
Education -Raise aspirations in pupils from underrepresented groups
in HE: First in family, low household income, looked-after
children, BME groups, mature students. -We aim to build confidence
and work with schools to help learners achieve -Provide impartial
HE advice and guidance to help those students making the
progression to HE
