CEMENT RESIDUE REMOVER AND HEAVY-DUTY CLEANER

THE FIRST CLEANING IS THE MOST IMPORTANTA grey cement residue, which remains after any amount of cleaning, ruins the most beautiful fl oors – irrespective of how well the tiles are laid. This is a case for MELLERUD Cement Res-idue Remover. It dissolves stubborn cement fi lms without resi-dues – even if the cement has already dried.

MELLERUD Heavy-Duty Tile & Stone Cleaner is the fi rst choice for repeated intensive cleaning. The complex combination of acids cleans deep into the pores. When applied once to twice a year, it helps tiles retaining their shine. Moreover, it can be used in the kitchen and bathroom as well as on the balcony, patio or in the garage.

Check carefully if the fl oor is resistant to acid. If it does not react well to acidic products, use MELLERUD Cement

Residue Remover for Marble and Calcareous Stone. In all cases saturate the fl oor with water. The stone absorbs the water so that MELLERUD Cement Residue Remover cannot penetrate the stone. This ensure that the acid acts on the surface and can thereby remove the limescale and cement residues.

MELLERUD RESTORES SHINE AND REFRESHES COLOURSWhether glazed or not, ceramic tiles are the least compli-cated fl oor covering. Regularly cleaned, they look like new for many years and stay hard-wearing and hygienically clean even under heavy use. The best tile cleaning starts once the tiles have been laid. Colour, shine and decorative patterns only come into their own when building dirt and cement residue has been com-pletely removed (see Cement Residue Remover and Heavy-Duty Cleaner). Afterwards you only need an occasional intensive clean and regular maintenance cleaning. Unglazed tiles need a little more attention. As a result of their porous surface they also need protecting and regular care to refresh the shine and act as a dirt repellent.

The weak point of hard-wearing tiles is often the grouts. So that cement-bonded grouts remain free of oil and grease

As with all natural products, natural stone is sensitive to daily household and environmental stresses. LASTING PROTECTION WITH MELLERUDStoneware made out of sintered ceramic is frost-proof, highly abrasion resistant and highly resilient. It off ers an enormous variety of patterns and the most diverse design possibilities. Yet fi ne stoneware is also susceptible to stains and dirt.

Even porcelain needs special care. Residues of mortar, adhesive and dirt settle in the micro-fi ne pores which are abraded and opened during polishing. For this reason support cleaning me-chanically using a cleaning pad.

Before walking on your fl oor made of stoneware for the fi rst time, always treat it with the surface with MELLERUD

Porcelain Stoneware Impregnator. When using polymer-modifi ed mortar, remove the synthetic residues with MELLERUD Heavy-Duty Intensive Cleaner and then get rid of the calcareous dirt using MELLERUD Cement Residue Remover.

Sealers cannot gain a hold on porcelain stoneware as a result of its low absorbency and change the appearance of the stone. For this reason never apply fi lm-forming agents such as treatments that contain wax or acrylate.
