Supplementary data 2: Detailed characteristics of rice FKBP proteins. The protein sequences were retrieved from the TIGR database (www.tigr.org). The molecular weight and isoelectric point were determined using EditSeq module of DNAstar. Localization was predicted based on transit peptide sequence using TargetP 1.1 (http://www.cbs.dtu.dk/services/TargetP/) and PSORT (http://psort.nibb.ac.jp/) databases. NLS prediction was done at PredictNLS server (http://cubic.bioc.columbia.edu/predictNLS/). The protein sequences retrieved from the TIGR database were used for domain analysis at the Pfam database (http://www.sanger.ac.uk/Software/Pfam/search.shtml). The names proposed in the brackets are the calculated molecular weight of the proteins based on their cDNAs.
