Tightening torque calculations: Dear Sir, Following are the Bolt size for which we need Torque Max to be fixed /marked SS 304 ESP Clamp fixing - M10X 50 mm SS bolt (Tightening torque of 16 N-m) ATP Mechanical Bracket - M10 X 40 MM Hilti bolt (8.8 Grade, Tightening torque of 44 N-m) Signal Unit - M12 X 30 mm (SS-304, Tightening torque of 26 N-m) Transponder - M 20 x 90 mm (SS-304, Tightening torque of 128 N-m) - M 20 x 30 mm Allen head bolt SS 304(Tightening torque of 128 N-m) Basis: For SS-304 material : UTS-515 MPa, YS-205 MPa Proof strength, Sp = 0.85* YS Proof load, Fp = At*Sp Preload, Fi =0.75*Fp (For non permanent connections, reused connections) Tightening torque, T = K*Fi*d Where, K = 0.2 (Zinc plated or bolt condition not stated)
