Tiger Woods, born Eldrick Tant Woods is an extremely successful golfer.
He was born on December 30, 1975 in Cyprus, California.
He was a child golf prodigy, first starting golf at the age of 2
He has 106 total professional wins, including 14 major championships.
He’s tied for second for the most Major wins and the most PGA tour wins.
His last Major win was in 2008, a year before his scandal.
Occasion-The Scandal
Tiger Woods’ wife was Elin Nordegren, as their marriage lasted from 2004-2010
They had two children
The National Inquirer published a story on November 25, 2009 claiming that Tiger had an “extramarital affair” with Rachel Uchitel, a New York nightclub manager.
Two days later Tiger Woods left his home in his SUV, only to run into a tree, fire hydrant and several bushes; allegedly running away from his wife who was swinging a golf club at him.
A few days later a News source released a voicemail of Tiger Woods to a mistress, then as days went by more women claimed to have had affairs with Tiger.
Tiger admits his wrong doing on February 19th, 2010, only months later him and Elin would get a divorce.

He states this in order to reiterate his purpose, to apologize to everyone affected by his conduct

He repeats the word private to criticize the media in making his ordeal extremely public, where he believes it should be a personal matter.

Tiger Woods Tone is apologetic and full of sorrow.

He uses this tone to drive home his purpose and to show he is in fact regretful of his actions, and that he will strive to be a better person.

Conclusion
Tiger Woods entered a “sex addiction program” and has since not dealt with such problems since.
As mentioned before, Tiger and Elin got divorced. Tiger just recently ended a relationship with professional skier Lindsay Vonn.
Tiger Wood’s golf game has declined, party due to injury.
He has not won a major since his scandal, however he recorded a good amount of tour wins in 2013, his best year since the scandal.
He reclaimed his spot as the number one golfer in 2013, but would lose it again months after.
He is currently ranked number 384.
