What is TIAC?Turbine Inlet Air Chilling (TIAC) is a power enhancementsystem that is applied to a gas turbine to enhance power
output and efficiency
Offsets the negative impact of higher ambienttemperatures
Improves operational effectiveness by stabilizing theavailable power output and efficiency
Typically applied to gas turbines at power plants
TIAC systems are based on several cooling technologies
including mechanical chilling, evaporative cooling andfogging
TIAC systems have been successfully applied to hundredsof gas turbines worldwide
