Professor Bill White from the Department of Computer Science will present several of the award-winning computer animation videos from the Computer

Animation Festival at the SIGGRAPH 2006 conference that he attended in Boston in August 2006.

The focus of this presentation will be the contrast between artistic computer animations and commercial computer animations, which are designed to

send very different types of messages.
