Once again, our rodeo will be held in Merrill, WI, June 9-11, 2017. We are co-sanctioned this year with the Prairie, Badlands, and First Frontier Circuits. EOO on May 31st, 10:30 AM MDT, EC June 1 st , 10:30 AM MDT. Added money is $2,000 per event and $4,000 for Team roping, Bull riding, and Saddle Bronc. Gary Van Der Geest Memorial saddles awarded to the high money winning cowboy in more than one event, and the winning Barrel Racer. A Trophy Vest awarded to the champion of each event and the reserve champion barrel racer. A buckle will be presented to the high point earning permit holder in Bareback and Saddle Bronc events. In case of a tie in any event, the winner will be decided by a coin toss, cut of the cards, or by drawing straws. If you’re not present, a committee member will be appointed to represent you in the tie. Enjoy our acclaimed Contestant Hospitality/VIP Tent beginning two hours prior to each performance. A special rodeo brunch, will be held on Sunday starting at 10:30 AM. Free Camping, Free Haircuts, and miscellaneous other giveaways. Human Chiropractor and a Veterinarian on grounds each day. Performances are at 7 PM Friday, 6:30 PM Saturday, 1 PM on Sunday. Food and Merchandise Vendors on the grounds opening Friday afternoon. Armed Services Appreciation Night on Friday June 9th th . Antique Tractor Pull on Saturday, June 10 th , for your entertainment, from Noon to 5 PM. No Admission Charge Saturday June 10 th , 6:30 PM is our Tough Enough to Wear Pink performance. Be sure to bring along your pink shirts. Sunday June 11 th , is Family Day, and Emergency Services Appreciation. Slack at 9 AM Sunday, with our 3 rd performance at 1 PM Following the performance on Friday and Saturday there will be live country music at the Beer Stand. *HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: The State of Wisconsin has strict Equine Import laws. Wisconsin Import Requirements for Equines . All Equine animals entering the grounds must have proper documentation. If the proper documentation is not provided, horses will not be allowed off the trailer, and participation will be prohibited. NO EXCEPTIONS! The original and a copy of all required documentation must be provided.
