MARKET DAY DESSERT BONUS DAYS ARE HERE - HELP OUR SCHOOL EARN A SPIRIT WEAR DAY! Don't forget to order Dessert during the Dessert Bonus Days this month at Market Day. The more desserts purchased, the more our school can earn! The fundraising committee is setting a school wide goal of 100 desserts purchased. If we reach this goal, Mrs. Hauke has agreed to give the school a Spirit Wear Day (date to be determined)! These desserts are great for the holidays (think Easter), First Communion, birthdays, and make great hostess gifts too! Market Day Orders are due in the school office by 3:00 on Friday, March 2nd. If you are ordering online, orders are due by 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3rd. Order pick up is scheduled for Wednesday, March 7th from 3-4 at the LCM cafeteria. THE MISSION IS COMING! THE MISSION IS COMING! MARCH 4,5, AND 6! All school families are invited to attend this parish event. We will begin each night with a simple meal, followed by a presentation with a guest speaker, Rich Curran. Rich will guide us through three nights of prayer, reflection, discussion, and celebration as we explore who we are as God’s children and how we want to “IGNITE THE LIGHT” in our parishes, our school, our homes and our hearts! ORIENTATION TO 4TH GRADE It is hard to believe that we are already preparing for the 2012-2013 school year. New this year, Lumen Christi will be offering an orientation for parents of incoming fourth graders on Tuesday, April 24th from 6:00 – 6:30 pm at the Mequon Campus. This event is designed to answer questions, provide information, meet the fourth grade teachers and tour the campus so you can prepare your child for a smooth transition. Please mark your calendar! 8TH GRADE GRADUATION DVD PICTURES NEEDED Please submit any pictures you have of the current 8th Grade Class reflecting on their journey through Lumen Christi from K4-8th grade. We are creating a reflective DVD set to music and need pictures to make it possible. You can submit them in one of three ways: email "jpg" files to Deanna Lee at d_r_lee@yahoo.com, send a flash drive to Deanna Lee or send in hardcopy pictures with your name on the back via Virginia Lee 8C or to Deanna Lee via the LCThiensville school office. Please provide these by the end of February. THANKS LOST AND FOUND Please remember to check the Lost and Found blue containers for gloves, hats, lunch boxes, etc. Labeling coats, snow pants and other possessions helps in returning items to their owners! LUMEN CHRISTI TENNIS 2012 Dear Parents, If your 7th or 8th grade child would like to participate in Lumen Christi’s co-ed tennis program, with practices hopefully beginning sometime around the weekend of March 26th, weather permitting, and concluding at the end of May, please fill out the intent form on the next page and return it with the tennis

sports fee ($35) to the Lumen Christi Mequon Campus no later than Friday, March 18th. Please make checks payable to Lumen Christi Athletic Association. Matches will begin the week of April 16th. Please keep in mind that students are now allowed to participate in more than one Spring sport at LC, but he/she will have to make sure there won’t be many conflicts between the tennis practices and matches and track practices and meets if participating in both sports. There will be two tennis leagues again this year: an “A” league for the stronger/tournament type player and a “B” league for the less-experienced/recreation type player. Sarah Weitzer will coach this year, but additional coaches are needed to help. Please let me know if you are willing to be an assistant coach. Both teams will practice together on Sunday afternoons, and another day to be determined once the match schedule is published, but possibly T and/or TH if possible. Assistance is needed at practices and matches – about 7 matches per team. Please indicate your availability on the registration form on the next page. Please also indicate below all time conflicts that your child will have during the season with other activities. If you have not completed and returned the Archdiocese Athletic Forms yet this year, please download them from the LC school website, complete them and return to the Mequon campus, attn.
