Re-registration & Tuition Assistance

for the 2020-2021 School YearRE-REGISTRATION: Current Families must re-register for the 2020-2021 School Year by the December 1 Deadline. After December 1, the registration fee will increase from $175/family to $225/family.

TUITION ASSISTANCE, SIBLING GRANT & CONTRIBUTING PARISHIONER GRANT: The Archdiocesan Tuition Assistance Program is available for all

students applying to, or currently enrolled in Catholic Schools

within the Archdiocese of Washington. For current families, applications will ONLY be accepted until December 6. All

tuition assistance obtained through the Archdiocese is based on

financial need. Families must apply each year to receive

assistance and need must be demonstrated each year to qualify.

Applying for tuition aid has no bearing on whether a student is

admitted to a school. To learn more, please visit the Tuition and

VERY IMPORTANT:In order to be eligible to APPLY for the HRS

Sibling Grant or any other tuition assistance

from the school or parish, each family must

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY TUTORING

The National Junior Honor Society is offering free tutoring during lunch. Tutoring

is from 11:50 to 12:30 on Thursdays in the 6th Grade classroom. Please fill out the

following information and return to your child’s homeroom teacher. Please note

that it is the student’s responsibility to attend tutoring. Please print, complete,

and return this form by Tuesday, October 15th to begin tutoring sessions on the

17th; however, the form can be returned at any point during October through

January.

Holiday Pie Fundraiser

Holy Redeemer will be selling freshly baked pies for you to enjoy during the Holidays. All pies must be paid-in-full

prior to submitting orders to the school office. Please note that the pies can be frozen and remain fresh for up to three months.

Student Volunteers

Needed!

At the end of Masses on Saturday, December 28 and

Sunday, December 29, there will be a second collection to

benefit our future state-of-the-art music studio. We need our HRS

students to assist with these collections.

We will need 4-6 students to help at each Mass. Students should

be in formal school uniform attire. All participating students will

receive a “free out of uniform day” for their service. If your child is

able to assist, please send this form to the school office

to the attention of Mrs. Scribner by December 16, 2019*.

*Please keep in mind we have our Christmas Break beginning on

December 20th at 12:30pm.

This is our second “Second Collection” for this school year.

Troop 96 Girl Scouts Announce:

The Troop 96 Holy Redeemer Girl Scouts will provide a snack, plus activities, games, and crafts with a fun theme: spies, detectives, and puzzles!

This Parents Night Out is hosted by Holy Redeemer Girl Scouts of Troop 96 as a money-earning event for their trip to Savannah, Georgia. All adult volunteers are VIRTUS trained and cleared.
