Presiding over the meet- ing was President Bowen with mem- bers Thuleen, Boughton, Davis, and Dodds answering roll call. Mr. Prickett and Mr. Moraniec presented information to the board on the school’s current facility and technology systems and structures. Mrs. Beames told the board we are looking at ways to protect the General Fund by shifting expendi- tures to other funds. Mrs. Beames is also working with Travis Squires from Piper Sandler on possibly refinanc- ing our sales tax bonds to increase SAVE funds. Mrs. Beames complimented Nate and Mac for their hard work compiling the information presented to the board. the Dan- ville City Council was called to or- der on January 18, 2021, 6:00 p.m., Danville City Hall by Mayor Strause. Council present were Fedler, Sperry, Huff, Furnald, and Heater. City em- ployee Rogers was present as was guests Eldon Melssen (also his son), and Matt Walker. Motion carried to approve the agenda as presented. Discussion was held with Eldon Melssen who would like to place an additional mobile home in their mo- bile home park on East Seymour Street. A building permit along with a copy of City Code 17.72.060 Special Uses Enumerated Section 19 per- taining to Mobile Home Parks was given to Mr. Melssen. When the per- mit is returned to City Hall, the Clerk was authorized to submit the permit to the Board of Adjustment for review as stated in the city ordinance. Mr. Melssen thanked the council for their time. (The Melssen’s left the meet- ing at 6:10 p.m..) City Engineer Matt Walker gave an update on the sewer lagoon project. The Board of Education of the Independent School District of West Burlington met at 6:00 PM on Mon-day, February 1, 2021, in the board-room at 607 Ramsey St. in West Burlington. Presiding over the meet-ing was President Bowen with mem-bers Thuleen, Boughton, Davis, and Dodds answering roll call.

Mr. Prickett and Mr. Moraniec presented information to the board on the school’s current facility and technology systems and structures.

Mrs. Beames told the board we are looking at ways to protect the General Fund by shifting expendi-tures to other funds. Mrs. Beames is also working with Travis Squires from Piper Sandler on possibly refinanc-ing our sales tax bonds to increase SAVE funds.

Mrs. Beames complimented Nate and Mac for their hard work compiling the information presented to the board. Mrs. Beames thanked Mac for his hard work getting infor-mation to Infinite Campus in anticipa-tion of the student information sys-tem conversion.

The meeting adjourned at 7:51PM.

The regular session of the Dan-ville City Council was called to or-der on January 18, 2021, 6:00 p.m., Danville City Hall by Mayor Strause. Council present were Fedler, Sperry, Huff, Furnald, and Heater. City em-ployee Rogers was present as was guests Eldon Melssen (also his son), and Matt Walker. Motion carried to approve the agenda as presented.

Discussion was held with Eldon Melssen who would like to place an additional mobile home in their mo-bile home park on East Seymour Street. A building permit along with a copy of City Code 17.72.060 Special Uses Enumerated Section 19 per-taining to Mobile Home Parks was given to Mr. Melssen. When the per-mit is returned to City Hall, the Clerk was authorized to submit the permit to the Board of Adjustment for review as stated in the city ordinance. Mr. Melssen thanked the council for their time. (The Melssen’s left the meet-ing at 6:10 p.m..) City Engineer Matt Walker gave an update on the sewer lagoon project. Council agreed to meet 5:00 p.m. February 15th, 2021, work session, to go over potential cost estimates for the two foremen-tioned lagoon systems.

By motions, the following items were also approved: The transfer of the 2012 Chevy Truck owned by the City to the Danville Fire Department, effective date being January 19, 2021.
