Day Four - Sunday
Students should try to take the minimum possible as they will have to carry it around with them on the 2 long journeys in particular.
Shoes should be comfortable and sensible as we will be doing lots of walking.
Warm clothes are essential – it is forecast to be between 0-7 degrees C
Rain is not currently forecast but keep checking.
Toiletries (towels provided by the hotel).
Medication
What to pack
Students are encouraged to bring their phones but must be responsible for them. In particular they should beware data roaming charges. They will need an adaptor to charge them.
A day bag / back pack will be needed for the Fri / Sat.
A pencil case and stationery.
Other valuables should be kept to a minimum.
What to pack
Students will require some English money for food en route – I would advise bringing a packed lunch on Thursday but some money for snacks / drinks In addition on the return journey only breakfast is provided so they will need to get lunch and dinner The hotel is B&B and we are booked in for a traditional French meal on one night and lunch is provided at the conference but most of the rest of the time we’ll be grabbing something on the run so they’ll need some Euros. We won’t have a huge amount of time for shopping but they may want some souvenirs of their visits.
