This is Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. giving one of his most famous speeches, “I Have Dream”, held in Washington D.C.
Mahtma Gandhi
Gandhi is picking up salt in a civil rights movement. The salt march, led by Gandhi was an act of civil disobedience towards the British rule over India in 1930. In the salt march Gandhi and his followers marched several days to the ocean to make free salt which was illeagle over the British rule.
Nelson Mandela
Mandela receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. This was for "for their work for the peaceful termination for laying the foundations for a new democratic South Africa"
