Who built the Three Gorges Dam

• Dr Sun Yat Sen was the person who wanted to stop flooding by building the Dam. And when China has a drought they have water from the dam to drink from.

When did they start and finished the Three Gorges Dam.

• It took 15 year’s and started 14th of December 1994 till the end of 2008.

How many people were moved.

1.3 million people were moved just to build the half way mark.

• The three gorges dam is the worlds largest hydropower complex project located in one of the Three Gorges the Yangtze: the xilingxia gorge in flubbed province.

• The three gorges dam is located in Yangtze River Chongqing, in central China.
