Data Zone will take place during lunch hours for students. e Data Zone will have one-on-one assistance to help students understand and interpret their data profiles, to share with their parents. Parents:  Please remind your students to stop into the Data Zone this month. TMS will continue to create opportunities to learn beyond the school day, please make sure that you continue to check backpacks for learning opportunities. • Jan. 9th - Parent Engagement Event: Boys Basketball Game Half-time Mini Parent Workshop • Jan. 11th -  Parent Engagement Event: Boys Basketball Game Half-time Mini Parent Workshop • Jan. 20th - No School for Students • Jan. 23rd - ompson Middle School PBIS Launch and School- wide book read- Touching Spirit Bear. Jan. 30th - Feb. 10th -  Sixth Grade Students will come to ompson Middle School to experience a day as a Middle School Student. February During the month of February, “e Tiger Den” will be opening at ompson. e Tiger Den will be a food pantry open to students and their immediate families. e Tiger Den will be run by student ambassadors and will have specific hours of operation available soon. ompson Middle School is partnering with Sodexo, Saginaw Public Schools and other community partners to bring this opportunity and support to ompson students and families. • Feb. 16th - D.A.T.E. Night (District Action Team for Empowering Parents) Come join the ompson community where we will be engaging 6th grade families and our current students in a night of mathematical learning with pizza, candy and more. Our evening focus will be on mathematics, Science, and Engineering. Prizes and Giveaways galore. • Feb. 23rd - Student-Led Conferences  from 12:30 - 3:00 pm and again from 4:00 -7:00 pm Parent Engagement TMS will continue to create opportunities to learn beyond the school day, please make sure that you continue to check backpacks for learning opportunities. WIDA testing will start in February and end in March.
