Early Years• In his early years Edison sold fruit and
vegetables at a stand with his partner Thomas.
• Edison was born in Milton on September, 1847.
• Edison was part deaf and had to be home schooled because he could not hear the teacher.
• Edison was very curios and he wanted to know everything.
Middle Years
• In Edison’s middle years he got a job on train and sold food and news papers.
• In 1871 Edison got married to Mary Stillwell and in 1884 he got remarried to Mina Miller.
• Edison invented the electrical light bulb when he was 77 years old.
• Edison became telegraph operator after saving James Macenzie’s daughter Edison became a very good at telegraph operator after three months of practicing.
Why this Person was Famous
• This person is most famous for inventing the electrical light bulb.
• Edison was also famous for inventing things like the type writer and stock ticker.
• Another reason this person was famous was because he received 1,093 patents, that's more than anyone in the world had been rewarded.
• Not only was Edison a very famous inventor, but famous for being a dogged worker.

Why I Chose this Person
One reason I chose this person was because I have an interest in electronics and science. I think that the light bulb is one of the worlds most used resource in the world. Another reason I chose this person was because I thought it might be cool to learn new things about not only about science and electricity, but about what his life was about and besides science.
