An APS-13 test bench was set up. 'I'his has been valuable in letting
mechanics know when a lan cL ng is expected.
A a hi/CPPJ-7 Localizer 3eacon was set up with non-directional antenna
in place of the squadron converted IFF Beacon. It proved very adequate,
send .ng out a strong signal. It works on AC thus el' ninating the necesslty

of the AN/CPN-7 as a localizer beacon Yrith direction antenna arrays is an-
