2021 DART STUDENT ART CONTEST GUIDELINES Deadline: Tuesday, March 23, 2021 • Now accepting online entries in all grade levels!

T H E M E : Everyday Heroes Ride DART.This contest is your chance to salute the hometown heroes that have kept our community going during the pandemic.

When creating your entry, think of all the everyday people that have made a positive impact in your life or the lives of others these past few months.

They could be teachers, delivery drivers, bus and train operators, grocery store and restaurant employees, construction workers, doctors, nurses and others who have been on the front lines throughout these challenging times.

Heroes come in many forms – show us what your hero looks like!

1. Designs must be original work created by the student and should illustrate the theme “Everyday Heroes Ride DART.”Contest open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Limit one entry per student. No group entries allowed.

2. Entries must measure 11” high x 17” wide, and the design should be laid out horizontally.

3. Students in all grade levels now have the option of submitting their entries online. All digital entries must be submitted by11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at DART.org/ArtContest.

4. All mailed entries must include a completed entry form (see below). Affix the completed form to the back of the artwork.Entries must arrive no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 and should be directed to:

5. DART will notify the winners no later than Friday, April 9, 2021.

6. All artwork becomes the property of DART and may be used with appropriate credit to the artist. By entering the contest,you consent to have your name and photograph appear as one of the winners.
