Wimer genealogy. Much of the information

had been handed down to her by Mrs. William

M. Wimer (Cora E. Crawford) with who^a l i f e

long association was had. Also she provided

accompany this material.

In addition a manuscript containing

early Wimer history and the Morgan Wimer

family history was provided by Mr. Wayne

Hurd, the husband of Luella Wimer, grand

Elihu Wimer was the originator

and builder of this structure which

was dedicated •• ••- • t 189 ,

as Boreman Chapel - M.E. Church. This

followed the split in the original

Methodist Church which was located

near the intersection of the Straight

Fork and Chestnut Flat roads. In

more recent years this church i s known

as the Straight Fork United Methodist

Church.
