Afghanistan
No wild poliovirus type 1 (WPV1) case was reported this week.There are 56 WPV1 cases reported in 2020 while the total numberof cases reported in 2019 remains 29.
No case of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2)was reported this week. There are 240 cVDPV2 cases reported in2020.

Pakistan
No wild poliovirus type 1 (WPV1) case was reported this week.There are 84 WPV1 cases reported in 2020 while the total numberof cases reported in 2019 cases remains 147.
Six WPV1 positive environmental samples were reported; two inPunjab, three in Balochistan and one in Khyber Pakhtoon.
One case of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2)was reported in Sindh. There are 122 cVDPV2 cases reported in2020 while the total number of cases reported in 2019 remains 22.
One cVDPV2 positive environmental sample were reported inBalochistan.

Angola
No case of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2)was reported this week. There have been three cases reported in2020 so far. The total number of 2019 cases remain 130. Thesecases are from several outbreaks which occurred in 2019.

Benin
No case of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2)was reported this week. There are two cVDPV2 cases reported in2020 while the number of 2019 cases remain eight. These cases areall linked to the Jigawa outbreak in Nigeria.

Burkina Faso
No case of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2)was reported this week. There are 55 cVDPV2 cases in the country.Burkina Faso is a�ected by di�erent outbreaks, one linked to theJigawa outbreak in Nigeria and one to the Savanes outbreak inTogo.

Cameroon
