Boy Scout Troop #4 100th Anniversary Celebration If you did not receive an invitation to the Troop #4 Boy Scout

100th Anniversary Celebration, invitations are available in the church office. The celebration will take place on May 2nd in Fellowship Hall.

SPRING TO GUATEMALA Our “March to Guatemala” fundraising campaign is now our “Spring to Guatemala!” fundraiser. This fundraiser will continue throughout the spring season, in hopes of raising a substantial

portion of our mission trip costs. During our mission trip, we will build 4 concrete homes for families currently living in corn stalk shacks and volun-teer in an orphanage for children with disabilities. How it works: A bulletin board located in the Narthex will have envelopes numbered 1-100 on it; the numbers represent the amount of money you would like to donate to the youth group students. Simply take the envelope, fill it with the amount of money listed on the front of the envelope, and return the envelope WITH YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS ON IT to the church office during regular business hours. The money donated to “Spring to Guatemala” will go di-rectly towards the senior high students’ expenses for the trip. Please con-sider donating to the cause! There is a wide variety of amounts still availa-ble to donate, and every little bit counts! We are extremely thankful for your continued love and support of our youth at Trinity!

Election Day Bake Sale — Trinity Circle will hold a Bake Sale on Election Day in Fellowship Hall, Tuesday, May5th. We would greatly appreciate all donations by the

many great bakers here at Trinity Church! Drop off your cookies, pies, cakes, breads, homemade candies, jams or canned garden items, Monday evening in the kitchen or first thing Tuesday morning, marked Election Day Bake Sale. All profits will be used for our mission work. Thank you!

37th Annual Ecumenical Dinner

Once again it’s time for our annual Ecumenical Dinner

with our neighbors from St. Michael's. This year we will be hosting. It will be on Tuesday, May 19 right here in Fellowship Hall and the menu is as follows: roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls and dessert. This is our opportunity to meet, mix and mingle and maybe make some new friends. It’s always a wonder-ful way to spend an evening. The tickets are $9.00 per person and will be on sale at the Kiosk before and after church this Sunday and the next two, or in the church office. It is necessary that the tickets be pre-purchased before May 15th.

All women of Trinity & your friends are invited to our

“3rd Annual Friendship Dinner”

WHEN: Wednesday, May 20th, 2015 TIME: 6:00PM

WHERE: Chateau Michele Restaurant, 2231 44th Street NW

COST: $12 per person

The event is being sponsored by Trinity Circle. Tickets are available in the Church Office or Sunday mornings beginning

May 3rd thru May 13th in the Gathering Area.

Any questions, please contact: Joan Rupert, 330-492-2836 Cheryl Hutcheson, 330-492-5771

With Sympathy — We extend our sympathy to Blaine & Arianna (Kidder) Maag, Tim Kidder and families on the passing of Arianna & Blaine’s infant daughter, Kennedy, this past week. Please keep the families in your thoughts and prayers.

Our Resounding Joy Bell Choir is including the "Singing Bell" effect in their music today. It is a technique adapted from the Asian tradition of singing bowls which may date as early as the eighth

century. The rim of our bells will vibrate to produce a beautiful "singing" sound by rubbing the outer edge with a wooden stick. Our thanks to Chuck Evans and David Miner for providing our singing bell dowels.

Courtyard Garden Fund Chuck and Delores Bebout have volunteered to take care of the flowers in the Main Courtyard and outside entrances of the church. Donations may be placed in the flower pot in the Narthex, or left in the church office. Cash or checks made out to Trinity UCC and marked Courtyard Flowers will be gratefully accepted. Thanks for your continued support.

Lifetouch Photographers will be here April 30th to take photos for

our new church directory. Please contact Carla Derr (330-437-9791) to schedule your appointment.

The Congregational Life Committee is sponsoring their annual Cleveland Indians Game Friday May 22, 2015. They will play the Cincinnati Reds. Due to stadium restructuring the tickets are $37 and $42 for the bus and the game. The tickets are in Section 130 which has a great view for the fireworks. It is also $1 hot dog night. We have 28 tickets left; please see Carla Derr if you would like to purchase one of the 40 available seats.
