Thanks to all the volunteers who set up and decorated and others who cleaned up after the workshop. Special thanks to the Childrens Ministries Planning Board: Kara Bush, Erin Chandler, Caley Gaus, Melinda Haag, Heather Jurjevic, Kate Kaeser, and Melissa See. 2018 New Year, New Sunday School!

Trinity has had a long history of excellent education classes for everyone from 2 years old to adults of every age. Regularly on-going classes will continue to meet, always welcoming new members. Beginning in January, our Sunday School calendar will work along with the church year, providing times of community gathering, learning, celebration, and rest. In addition to our on-going classes, we will be offering classes for those who would like to try something new. All members and guests are encouraged to attend the Community Gathering times, hosted by Pas-tor Riesen. We will be offering regularly-scheduled Community Gathering Breakfasts at the Sunday School hour with a breakfast bar for all in attendance (children and adults), along with a time of con-versation, learning, prayer, and an overview of the next educational session – and maybe a few surprises! The first Community Gathering will take place on January 7, at 9:30 a.m., in Mitchell Hall. Everyone is invited, including your friends…this is an intergenerational, congregational, and educa-tional program! Whether you are a long time member or visiting guest, young and experienced alike, are encouraged to join in at any time and take part on Sunday mornings at 9:30. See the Sunday School page of our website for more details and the schedule for the coming year.

Winter Jam Retreat - January 12-14

Attention 8th-12th graders!! Every one of us has dreams; but, have you ever

asked yourself what you are supposed to do in your life? The path you are to

follow? Jesus changes our trajectory when we ask Him that very question and

He answers. We are asking that you break out of those winter blues and join us

for a fun-filled weekend at Pleasant Valley Ranch. We will be coming together with Grace Brethren

and other local churches for a fun-filled weekend of activities and fellowship. Please mark your

calendars for this amazing opportunity at Pleasant Valley Ranch in Perrysville, OH. Please contact

Heather Jurjevic for more information or to sign up for this event. We are also looking for 3-4

adults who will be able to help with registration and hospitality for this event. Let us know as

soon as possible if you would like to help with the youth for this event!

Oops, Wrong Coat! A lady who attended the Women’s Christmas Brunch has discovered that she went home with a coat that looked like hers, but wasn’t the right one. If you were there, would you mind checking to see if you have your own coat? If you discover that your coat was switched, you can stop by the church office to trade it in for yours. Thank you!

JESUS IS BETTER THAN SANTA

Santa comes but once a year JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.
