Digging Deeper! Sundays (10:15am 203/4) We now meet on Sundays at 10:15 to 11:00 in Room 203/4 to engage in discussion of contemporary or Lutheran Issues where the emphasis is on applying what Jesus taught to our current way of living and worshiping. YOU bring the topics, while Mark Herman facilitates (or referees) as necessary.

Lectionary in the Lounge-Sundays (8-8:45am) Talk about the worship service reading of the day. It may not necessarily be the gospel reading but on whatever reading the preacher of the day decides to concentrate on. Led by Chris Robinson. Starts July 9th in the lounge (Rm 110).

Mark on John Bible Study (Sunday or Thursday)

We start out with “Mark on John” for 3 Sundays in July: led by Pastor Mark, meeting upstairs in the double room (203/4) on Sundays, July 9, 16, and 23. The same series is also be available on Thursday evenings at 7pm – July 6, 13, 20. Sign up in the hall.

Quilting Bee - Thursday, July 13 9:30 FH There’s a quilting bee on Thursday morning, July 13, at 9:30 AM in the upstairs Fellowship Hall. There will be coffee and snacks and lots of fun fellowship as we work on assembling quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Absolutely no experience is needed and there's lots of ways you can help. So if you've got a few hours that morning, we hope you'll join us. What is the Bible?

Our next class is July 26th, followed by Aug16th & 30th

at 7:00 to 8:00 pm in Room 110 (the Lounge)

Join us at any time during the summer. The book can be ordered online.

And note, after a short break, class resumes October 4 and continues weekly thru January 31 with some time

off for the holidays. Come to one, come to all!

The Yvonne Peiffer Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 15th, at 11:00am, followed by a luncheon in Fellowship Hall.

Little Dresses for Africa Pillow case dresses for Little Dresses for Africa is a ministry that provides a new dress for a young girl who may have never owned a dress of their own.

The dresses are simple to make from a new pillow case by following four simple steps, and within a short time a new pillow case can be turned into a prized possession for a grateful little

girl in Africa. And who knows, some of these dresses could even make their way to girls at our companion church in Tanzania.

A sample dress with written sewing instructions are on display in the narthex. And if you have any questions, contact Tilly Hujsak at 610-363-6898 or at [email protected].
