Annual Conference Conversation
Join in the sanctuary at 3:00 PM today for the annual conference follow up conversation
with Pastor Matt.
Are you a with a child 5th grade or younger? Are they interested in Children’s Church or planning to stay in the Nursery? Please grab a “We Love Children” sticker and place it on your child and on any items you wish to designate as theirs; keeping the top sticker with you for when it’s time to head home. Each child needs to have a sticker each Sunday for new volunteers. Thank you!

8/18 (TODAY) - Dolphin Tour! We will meet at the Cove at 5:00 PM
8/25 - Cove Open House from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Rising 6th Graders and those new to the Cove can come out with their parents to meet Pastor Michelle, and learn more about upcoming events.
9/5 - Youth Breakfast begins. Breakfast is at 7:00 A.M. with a message.
9/6-9/8 - Camp Willow Spring Retreat Price is $50.00 sign up by emailing [email protected], or by signing up on the church website.

Procedures for a growing church
Mount Olivet is excited that your family is worshipping with us today. We practice Safe
Sanctuary polices and desire to provide a safe secure environment for our volunteers,
children, and youth that join us in worship and at sponsored events.
Are you with a child 5th grade or younger? Are they interested in Children’s Church or
planning to stay in nursery? Please read more in the children’s section about the “We
Love Children” stickers. Thank you!
Food Pantry Opportunity
The Pantry has an opportunity for a new program to increase our food assistance to
low income seniors in our community. To make this happen we will need a new team
(3 to 5 people) to handle signup, receiving of food, storage, distribution and reporting.
The food will be distributed once a month. The new program can help keep vulnerable
seniors from having to choose between food and other basic needs. If you feel lead by
the Spirit to take on the leadership role or assist with this endeavor contact Bob or
Angela (473-3814).
Life Groups Life Groups will be returning this fall. Keep your eyes peeled for more information in the upcoming announcement sheets. Let the church office or Pastor Matt know if you are interested in a certain topic.
